You are trying to claim something that is on video is somehow not true, after you can't admit that every single court in the entire country saw Trump's bullshit evidence and rejected it. Just because you are too ashamed to admit your people rioted at the Capitol, beat cops, broke into the building and overran security, taking the building by force doesn't mean it didn't happen. We know it happened because it is all on tape and I saw it live.

Once MAGArTs broke through windows they were inside the police perimeter.

You can not defend against a mob from front and back when you are vastly outnumbered

It was ONE GUY. They possibly could have dissuaded the others by barring him from entering.

But even if everything you say is true, that it was too big a risk to try to hold the mob back, it still doesn’t explain why the cops mingled and socialized with the “insurrectionsts” once they were inside.

By the time that mob broke into the Capitol, police were already retreating. There was no possible way those 5 cops could have kept that mob out without opening fire on them.

And though the vast majority didn't plan an insurrection, some did. And they were the first ones to break into the Capitol.

How do you know this? How do you know that some of those who did not plan an insurrection were not part of the group that entered the building?

As far as much of the rest of that mob, they themselves said they were there to "stop the steal," which was to somehow prevent the peaceful transfer of power. Unprecedented in American history.

This still does not mean that the crowd consensus was to break in.

I'm also not sure where you get your 90% percent figure from. They've arrested some 900 people. How many people do you think went into the Capitol?

Not true. There was one, maybe two, cops there. The others looked like they were filming what was happening. And the one cop there sprayed pepper spray at the first guy, who just shook it off as others behind him were coming in through the window.

Convincing them he was robbed; then convincing them Mike Pence could save the election for him; which Mike Pence opened the proceding with a statement that doing what Trump was asking him to do was unconstitutional. That led to chants of, "hang Mike Pence," from some in that mob as they broke into the Capitol.

Then, in my opinion, Trump aided them by doing nothing for hours; and gave them comfort telling them he loved them. Which, also in my opinion, renders him ineligible to hold public office again according to the 14th Amendment.
