breonna taylor -police officer appeals for job back,

I understand that the officer was supposedly supposed to be trained. Maybe those who want stronger gun laws are right. After all if trained officers can't even responsibly use their weapon what can we expect out of everyone else?

Yeah...except actual facts, truth and history show that you don't know what you are talking about......

Americans use their legal guns 1.2 million times a year against rape, beatings, stabbings, robberies and murder....accidental gun deaths......in 2019?

458....

With 600 million guns in private hands and over 21.52 million Americans carrying guns in public for self defense.....

You have no rational argument for what you post..

So this officer wasn't even as capable as the average gun owner.

How often did this officer fire his gun at criminals suspects in self defense?

People like you, idiots....assume cops are gun fighters...when a very tiny number of police ever fire their weapons in the middle of a gun fight....most cops only fire their guns to qualify once a year......

Meanwhile, a lot of Americans who own and carry their guns go to the range monthly or more.....

So do cops.

If that is the case why did they charge an officer for recklessly firing into another apartment with white folks living there.

Wow.....a police officer kills a black woman in her apartment....in this environment?

Are you dumb or just really stupid?

Wrong...they did....a witness testified he heard them announce they were police.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Nearly a week ago, Attorney General Daniel Cameron declared that Louisville Metro Police knocked and announced themselves before breaking down Breonna Taylor's apartment door during an attempted search that ended in her death.

He knew it, he said, because the officers at the scene told investigators they had identified themselves as police — and one of Taylor's neighbors said he heard them do it.

But Cameron left something out — that same witness previously said the exact opposite.

It wasn't until nearly two months later, when investigators circled back to Sarpee on May 15, that Taylor's neighbor said he heard officers knock and announce: "This is the cops."

Witness who said police announced themselves at Breonna Taylor's apartment changed story

Not exactly a reliable witness. When your one and only witness changes his story...........................

Yep...and yet it doesn't change the dynamic.....

The guy shot at the guys entering his apartment.....he can claim he didn't know they were cops and therefore has legitimate self defense claims...

The cops entered the apartment, with a no-knock warrant...so whether they actually announced or not, they had the legal ability to enter the apartment....

They were fired on as they entered and returned fire in self defense...

Neither the guy or the cops should face penalties, they both acted in self defense.

An ability based upon lies.

Nope....they had a warrant signed by the judge.....the cops going through the door had no hand in that warrant and were executing their duties as law enforcement officers....blame the prosecutor and the judge, even the cop's bosses...but the cops going through the door were fired on, and returned fire...

At least one of the officers that night knew the warrant was based upon a lie. He should have blown the whistle.

Doesn't change anything.....

The cops getting fired on were still defending themselves...the guy shooting, who alleges he didn't know they were cops also has a defense claim...

What part of that is so hard for your brain to compute?
