Good piece from Jacob G. Hornberger

Another terrorist attack in London, and more predictable responses from President Trump, British Prime Minister May, other public officials, and the mainstream press. We have to crack down on terrorism. The problem is with extremist Muslims. They hate us for our freedom and values. Don’t be afraid. Go about your daily lives as if nothing has happened.

And, of course, not one single word of the US government’s interventionist foreign policy in the Middle East and Afghanistan, which has entailed killing Muslims and other for at least 25 years and which continues unabated to this day, a policy with which the British government has partnered and supported since its inception.

Why not even a peep about more terrorist retaliation from US foreign interventionism?

Isn’t the answer obvious? If they mentioned that, that would cause people to ask a very basic question: Is the interventionism worth the death and destruction that comes as “Blowback,”...

We already seen what happened when Obama declared the war over in Iraq and the yazidis were being executed...

Ya can't back down.

Hornberger is a loon that believes if left alone the radicals will behave

A fool's errand

So the Muslim Turks committed the Armenian Christian genocide because of US Troops?

Not following you on that one.

Was Jacob Hornberger in a freaking coma for the last eight years or do they only want to bring he Troops home during republican administrations?

I though Obama caused all this by not wiping out ISIS

According to Wikileaks documents, Obama and Hillary Clinton were aware of 'Allies' like Saudi Arabia funding & arming ISIS in Syria. They knew, yet kept it secret from the American People. It's unforgivable. So Obama definitely played his part in this Permanent War agenda. He's complicit in it.

I called for bringing our troops home all throughout Barack Obama's tenure. I can't speak for others, but i know i called for it.

I'm more like...unleash the troops.

Is that really working? We're $21 Trillion in Debt and spread way too thin. How many more countries can we meddle in at this point? This Empire-Building is coming with a very bloody & expensive price. It's why our Founding Fathers warned against it.

"Interventionist foreign policy in Afghanistan"? Once again we have here a bot posing as an American telling us not to believe our lying eyes. I've seen it for 15 years on these boards and it's always the same thing. Hey Dschrute3....hang yourself, bitch.

Whoa, calm down man. The Afghan War especially, should be over. We have no business being there at this point. We routed Al Qaeda and killed Bin Laden. It's over. It is time to come home.

It's not working because we haven't done it. We're not empire building....far from it. What's the price in blood and money of standing by and watching people be slaughtered, infrastructure destroyed, lives decimated. Trillions could have been saved, not just for us but for an entire region, but were lost through inaction.

Perpetual War isn't the answer. We gotta try something different. We're in way too many countries trying to dominate them. It is Empire-Building. And it's killing us. We can't afford it anymore.
