Yes...most of the time British criminals use their illegal guns to simply injure their victims...which keeps their murder rate low. This time, for whatever reason, the criminal aimed hire and shot the victim in the chest.....

Several Liverpool roads remain cordoned off after man shot in chest

Police cordons remain in place in North Liverpool this morning after a man was gunned down in Everton.

The victim was reportedly carried into A&E on Monday evening after being shot in the chest.

One woman, who lives in the area, has said she is particularly frightened by this incident.

She told the ECHO: “My daughter was walking through the estate at that time.

“My kids walk through here all the time by themselves, as long as it’s still light out, and now I have to worry that they could stumble on this.

“It’s frightening for us. How are we supposed to keep our children safe without locking them away in the house?”

Compared to 27 gun murders in the US last night, the Brits must be doing something right with their gun laws, because our gun laws are not helping ~ gun murders are going up again in the US.

Again..... you seem to think the murder rate indicates the success of British gun control.... and you are wrong, again. British criminals are getting guns more and more often, gun crime in Britain is up 44%....that means, for someone as slow as you, that their gun control laws are not working, they are not keeping guns out of the hands of criminals.

What you think about gun murder is stupid....British criminals have illegal guns, they point them at people to commit crimes...this means their gun control laws are not working. What British criminals tend not to do is pull the trigger on those guns to murder their victims.... if you weren't really stupid, you would understand that. When they do pull the trigger, they tend to shoot to the legs, not the upper body.... a cultural difference between American criminals and British criminals, but that is changing as their knife crime indicates that they are no longer timid about committing murder...so gun murder won't be far behind.

2aguy, who fails every day in his paid position for the gun lobby, can never handle numbers, per capita, ratios, or population differentials.

One person shot in UK; 27 shot in Chicago. Yeah, UK is far more dangerous than the US.

Blame the democrats for those shootings since the majority of those shooters are repeat offenders the democrats released from prison....over and over again...

And again, you are too stupid to realize that when criminals keep getting guns easily, as they do in Britain, that means their gun control laws are not working....... their criminals get guns, they use guns, they just aren't killing their victims.... for gun control to work, gun crime has to go down, not up 44% last year as it did in Britain.....

Meanwhile, in the U.S.....

We went from 200 million guns in private hands in the 1990s and 4.7 million people carrying guns for self defense in 1997...to close to 400-600 million guns in private hands and over 17 million people carrying guns for self defense in 2017...guess what happened...

-- gun murder down 49%

--gun crime down 75%

--violent crime down 72%

Gun Homicide Rate Down 49% Since 1993 Peak; Public Unaware

Compared with 1993, the peak of U.S. gun homicides, the firearm homicide rate was 49% lower in 2010, and there were fewer deaths, even though the nation’s population grew. The victimization rate for other violent crimes with a firearm—assaults, robberies and sex crimes—was 75% lower in 2011 than in 1993. Violent non-fatal crime victimization overall (with or without a firearm) also is down markedly (72%) over two decades.

None of that shows that relaxed gun laws in America have created a safer America.

You mean other than the 49% drop in gun murder, the 75% drop in gun crime and the 72% drop in violent crime... you mean other than that...right?

While Britain has a 44% increase in gun crime.....

Can you see how those numbers are different, you moron....
