i have the book in pdf and audiobook format, if enough interest is shown in this thread, i'll post some excerpts from the book and we'll discuss and debate! woohoo! this guy is gonna run for Senate or House in Pennsylvania! he's a moderate/establishment-oriented GOP businessman with an eye toward foreign policy

election day 2020 was a beautiful day, the most secure election ever!

If McCormick indicated that he would refuse to work with President Trump after the 2024 election, because he didn't think that Trump was a valid President, why would McCormick expect Trump to endorse him?

If elected next year, the Trumpster is going to need people who are on board with the program, if he is going to roll back Biden's Extremism.

McCormick is a political nincompoop to think that coming out with this now is going to help him in future elections. This just makes him look like a kiss and tell weasel. Personally, I thought he was another neocon in the making anyway, far from an America first type.

excerpt from McCormick's new book:

"At the time, my campaign was surging. We entered the race in January, months after most of the candidates, but in twelve weeks we had sped to the front of the pack. We had all the momentum. Then I heard the former president planned to endorse Mehmet Oz, so I flew to Mar-a-Lago.

When I arrived, I was escorted into President Trumpā€™s office. I sat across from him and asked him simply to stay out of the race. ā€œLet us duke it out ourselves,ā€ I said. ā€œLet the voters decide on their own.ā€

He listened and then called in his assistant Molly. On a large television against the wall, she pulled up a video of an interview I had participated in in early January 2021, not long after January 6. She played a Bloomberg segment, where, when I was asked about the political divisiveness in America, I said Trump bore some responsibility.

In the same segment, the interviewer asked what I thought about Bidenā€™s first days in office and his recently stated goal of unifying the country, and I wished him well. Trump was unhappy with both comments.

Then the former president looked me in the eyes and warned, ā€œYou know you canā€™t win unless you say the election was stolen.ā€ I made it clear to him that I couldnā€™t do that. Three days later, Trump endorsed Oz.

The endorsement gave Dr. Oz a bump in the polls, but before long, his momentum faded. I remained in the lead. It became clear to all involved that Donald Trumpā€™s endorsement wouldnā€™t be enough to close the deal, which would have been an embarrassing loss for the former president in the critical Keystone State. So Trump made his way to Pennsylvania.

Listening to Trump's rally in the car on the radio two weeks later, I sat in silence, watching the trees fly by in the dark outside the window and listening as the former president of the United States attacked me at a fairground a mere twenty miles away.

He called me Wall Street, not Main Street. Soft on China, not tough on China. A globalist, not America First. He labeled me weak, not a fighter, and said Iā€™d get to Washington and ā€œfold,ā€ like all the establishment Republicans.

Iā€™d been called many things in my lifeā€”nothing can compare to the rhetorical assaults of a foul-mouthed Army Ranger instructorā€”but Iā€™d never been called weak or had my patriotism called into question. The man Trump described wasnā€™t me. It certainly wasnā€™t the person my colleagues had known for decades or the man the voters of Pennsylvania had come to know over the preceding months of campaigning.

I couldnā€™t help but smile. The remainder of the election was going to be a hell of a fight"

My recommendation to Mr. McCormick is that if he wants to get the nomination for senate as a Republican next year in Pennsylvania, its a good time for him to mend fences with the party's prospective Presidential nominee.

People aren't going to want to vote for someone who hates their candidate for President

Well
OZ outperformed the Gubernatorial candidate by double digits.

Oz was fine.

If McCormick supported Biden he should have ran as a Democrat.

he doesn't support Biden's policies. in fact, he wrote an entire book attacking those policies. wishing your POTUS well and praying he succeeds is not the same as supporting his policies. it's called patriotic leadership, and you should learn something about it

Yes, I'm reading that, too --- he's going to make another try at it. Good for him, why not.

Whatever you call it, its pointless for McCormick to run on a ticket led by the Trumpster, if he isn't willing to support President Trump's ideas.

Maybe he doesn't like Biden's either, so that would make him a good choice for a 3rd party or independent.

Its pointless if you don't want to work with President Trump and instead want to make it harder for the Trumpsters to roll back Bidenist extremism. Particularly, since those facts mean you'll probably lose.

Look troll
Pennsylvania was probably the easiest stare in the country to explain how the fraud happened to them.
They lived through it.

He tried, he lost
He's blown his nut sack
He's done, like Cheney and the other stooges.

Running for Senator from Pennsylvania isn't the same as running on a Trump ticket. I think McCormick has a good chance, and anything but another Democrat in the Senate!!

People didnā€™t vote for Oz. They voted against him in such numbers that a Stroke Victim won the Senate. The People rejected Trump and his endorsed celebutard hand picked candidate.

He wasn't willing to parrot the Big Lie. Because he has integrity.

Big difference.

That's what cost him Trump's endorsement.

We'll see ------- it's a long time to November, 2024. WHAT a circus we've got rolling in.

Donald Trump just doesn't get how much he is hated by America.

His fragile ego can't handle this truth.
