Not so sure. Remember, the GOP is 90% white and the Democrats are over 50% white. The Soviets were a threat for decades. Most of my life has been hearing about the Soviet Threat. And Bernie with his "start a revolution" and "socialism for all" is very scary sounding for millions of Americans. I have to admit, it even makes me feel very uncomfortable. But then, so does Trump's Hitler salute.Bernie would beat Trump badly. No doubt about it. However, I think HRC will be the candidate for the Dems.
I have to agree with Jake on this one...
The Minority vote in states like California, Illinois, Ohio, and Florida would not sway to Trump which mean he loses those states.
Then Texas has a very big Hispanic community and if they believe that Trump is for real on his word about deporting and building the wall they will swing around against him and could cost the GOP Texas.
With those states out of play then what does Trump have left to win?
New York?
Maybe because he is from there or he could end up being like Al Gore and lose his home state in a General Election.
Bernie has less baggage than Hillary but either one should be able to beat Trump or even Cruz without any problem... ( If Cruz is the nominee then expect Texas to stay red )

Yep, Trump is a plutocrat and Sanders is a democratic socialist. If Hillary gets indicted it might turn out to be the ultimate challenge right out of a freaking novel. A self made billionaire unrepentant capitalist vs. a Marxist socialist. Finally the democrat party comes to the end of the line.
