Obama chose to unilaterally undo those sanctions without telling us because he knew America would be outraged.

Obama chose cash for 2 reasons;

1. It wouldn't endanger American soldiers if he used electronic transfer.

2. You can't track cash to determine how many innocent people were murdered by the terrorist attacks Obama funded.

Well it was more than just the $400 million, or even $1.7 Billion that was frozen because of the revolution back in the 1970s.

There was an estimated $400 Billion dollars or more, that was blocked from going to Iran, because of their nuclear ambitions.

Iran was in a difficult situation, because they needed the money to complete their nuclear goals. But they couldn't get the money without giving up their nuclear goals.

The plan was, and is, to fool the west into thinking they have given up their goals, get the money, and then continue building their nuclear plans in secret.

This was openly stated several times by the Mullahs in Iran. Of course they only said that in Arabic, while the official English responses by the Iran government, were always saying they'll be peaceful. Never mind the fact that the revolution made the government only a figure head, to the religious authorities....
