Celebrating Failure???

That's what our Liberal pals have been trained to do.
The wisest wonk once said ' Let's be honest, for a Liberal not data, facts, proof, or even experience will matter a bit in informing their beliefs.'

Proof to follow:

1. Recently, a thread, "Beating Social Security," [ http://www.usmessageboard.com/threads/beating-social-security.452840/], documented that:

a. Franklin Roosevelt's plan, Social Security was a careless adventure, poorly designed.

b. It has resulted in $ trillions of debt generations into the future

c. Courts have found that government has no legal obligation to pay off any of its Social Security promises.

And.....
d. There are actual plans which, mathematically and financially, work out better than the Democrat plan.

And these alternatives to Roosevelt's plan have been proven successful..
"... a privatized Social Security ... Government employees in Galveston, Brazoria and Matagorda Counties have controlled their private retirement plan for 30 years. They opted out of Social Security before Congress changed the law in 1983 to prevent others from withdrawing."
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/18/us/how-privatized-social-security-works-in-galveston.html?_r=0

2. Yet, those indoctrinated to love and defend anything Liberal or Democrat immediately lied, claiming that the thread was about ending Social Security.
Posts like these:

"Yessireee.................. Good GOP morals, work them till they drop, and then throw them out into the street to die. "Let him die, let him die!!!". And ol' Staph is cheering all the way. Until they throw her out into the street. Maybe then she can 'roll'. "Beating Social Security | Page 15 | US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

Not a single one these comments is based on anything in that thread. They are the product of mind-numbed Liberal robots, found in surfeit hereabouts.

Is this a declaration that Liberals/Democrats endorse failure in the Social Security plan, just as they do in endorsing Liberal/Democrat Welfare policy?
You betcha!!!

Democrat/Liberal policy is not to move folks out of poverty....
....it is to maintain poverty, and keep the welfare plantation fully stocked.

And Democrat/Liberal Social Security design is not to insure the elderly, it is to grow government.

Let's try that again....

Who is this "wisest wonk" you quote? I've ruled out Ann Coulter, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Milton Friedman, Ayn Rand, any of the Founding Fathers and so on. As a matter of fact the quote sounds suspiciously like something you would say, are you giving yourself an anonymous pat on the back?

I'm all for fixing things that need to be fixed including social security, but the remote thought that 12, even $15 an hour is a decent wage is a crock and those wages are for kids, not adults. For that wage an employer should not expect much in the way of productivity. My carpenters started off at 20 bucks per hour in the 90's. That was close to fair. Dumps like Walmart should be shunned by those who wish to get ahead.

They looked at the Repubs record and chose wisely. (chose a democrat President TWICE!!!)

Easy Choice....you'll notice a lot of cute cartoons and rationalization...no refutation.

So who is OP planning on voting for?

What policies would that candidate do to bring down the debt & increase employment? Keep in mind that the Repub Congress has yet to put forth a tax plan or alternative to O'Care since their election.

Yes $12 is wonderful. Something one should aspire to. Sorry a college degree in a trending field can wield 4 times that. Telling people 12 an hour is good isn't exactly honest

I remember the Democrats standing up and cheering when Bush said in his SOTU address that privatized Social Security was dead....thanks to the efforts of the Democrats.

They were sooooooo happy that the cookie jar was still there for them to steal from.

I remember that also. It really is amazing how the left has convinced some of the people in this country that Republicans are out to screw them, when in reality, the Democrats put forth legislation that appears to be pro-American, then hides all of its little "screw devices" in the extra pages. When a Republican sees them and won' vote for it because of it, we get from left.........see what they won't support!

It is exactly why bills are soooooo biiiiiiggggg, so politicians can hide the true meaning of the legislation from the American people!

Tell me about it:

George W. Bush signs the Patriot Act - Oct 26, 2001 - HISTORY.com

All 342 pages....I guess we had to sign it to see what was in it.

Yeah tell us, Hillary Clinton
  • Voted YES on reauthorizing the PATRIOT Act. (Mar 2006)
Voted YES on reauthorizing the PATRIOT Act.
This vote reauthorizes the PATRIOT Act with some modifications (amendments). Voting YEA extends the PATRIOT Act, and voting NAY would phase it out. The official summary of the bill is:A bill to clarify that individuals who receive FISA orders can challenge nondisclosure requirements, that individuals who receive national security letters are not required to disclose the name of their attorney, that libraries are not wire or electronic communication service providers unless they provide specific services, and for other purposes.

  • Opponents of the bill say to vote NAY because:
  • Some may see the vote we are about to have as relatively trivial. They are mistaken. While the bill we are voting on makes only minor cosmetic changes to the PATRIOT Act, it will allow supporting the PATRIOT Act conference report that was blocked in December. Cosmetic changes simply don't cut it when we are talking about protecting the rights and freedoms of Americans from unnecessarily intrusive Government powers.
  • The White House has tried to make life uncomfortable for Senators. It has suggested they are soft on terrorism, that they don't understand the pressing threat facing this country, that they are stuck in a pre-9/11 mindset. Those attacks should be rejected.
  • We can fight terrorism aggressively without compromising our most fundamental freedoms against Government intrusion. The Government grabbed powers it should not have when it passed the original PATRIOT Act and we should not be ratifying that power grab today. The PATRIOT Act reauthorization conference report is flawed. S. 2271 pretends to fix it but I don't think anyone is fooled, least of all our constituents.
  • Because the Republican leadership obstructed efforts to improve the bill, the "police state" provisions regarding gag orders remain uncorrected. The Senate should get down to the serious business of legislating real fixes to the PATRIOT Act.

I wish she hadn't done that. I wish she hadn't voted for the resolution to go to war in the first place. When you're a US Senator (twice elected) and the former SoS, you won't get every decision right. Nobody does. Al Pacino is a successful actor...right? You know he turned down Ray Liota's role in Goodfellas because he didn't want to be typecast? I bet he wished he could have that one back--the lead role in an iconic film.
The vote was made in good faith predicated on lies from the Bush Administration; had Congress known the truth it would have never authorized the unwarranted, illegal invasion of Iraq, hence the need for the Bush Administration to lie to 'justify' the invasion.

That is one of the biggest lying meme that the left ever created. All any of the legislators had to do is walk across the street and see all the evidence for themselves. For crying out loud Mrs. Clinton was married to the ex-president don't you think she at least had some sort of inside knowledge? No, you have a meme to push.

The Obama Economic Hit-Parade!

1.More than 6.7 million more Americans have been plunged into poverty since Obama became President.

2.Real household income is down 5%

3. Consumer prices are up 10.2%

4. When Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the debt was $10,626,877,048,913.08. Since then, it has increased $7,514,567,086,650.22--which is $65,443 per household, $70,985 per full-time worker and $84,266 per full-time private-sector worker. Under Obama: Federal Debt Up $84,266 Per Full-Time Private-Sector Worker

5. (CNSNews.com) - The federal government drove $789,473,350,613.20 deeper into debt in calendar year 2014, an increase that equaled $6,875 per household, $7,458 per full-time year-round worker, and $8,853 per full-time year-round private-sector worker. According tothe Treasury, the debt started calendar year 2014 at $17,351,970,784,950.10 and ended it at $18,141,444,135,563.30. Under Obama: Federal Debt Up $84,266 Per Full-Time Private-Sector Worker

6. Food stamp recipients up 49%

7. Debt held by the public is up 89%

However, the Obama administrationrecently projected an annual deficit of $750 billion in the fiscal year that began Oct. 1, and $626 billion the year after. At that rate, the debt owed to the public will more than double during the Obama presidency.

As of 2012, according to the most recent figures reported by the Census Bureau, median (midpoint) income for all U.S. households was $51,017, which was 4.9 percent lower (in inflation-adjusted dollars) than it was in 2008, the year before Obama took office.

The same story applies to family income, which includes many families with two earners. (The “household” figure includes single persons living alone, as well as families.) Median family income in 2012 was $62,241, or 5.1 percent below the inflation-adjusted 2008 level.

The number of persons living in poverty also worsened again in 2012, according to the most recent Census figures.

8. As of last year, 46,496,000 persons lived in households with income below the official poverty line, an increase of nearly 6.7 million since 2008 and 249,000 since 2011. The total poverty rate remained unchanged in 2012 at 15 percent of the total U.S. population. So for the second straight year, the poverty rate was 1.8 points higher than it was in 2008.

5. (CNSNews.com) - The federal government drove $789,473,350,613.20 deeper into debt in calendar year 2014, an increase that equaled $6,875 per household, $7,458 per full-time year-round worker, and $8,853 per full-time year-round private-sector worker. According tothe Treasury, the debt started calendar year 2014 at $17,351,970,784,950.10 and ended it at $18,141,444,135,563.30.

Record 94 Million Americans Not In The Labor Force; Participation Rate Lowest Since 1977 | Zero Hedge
Ah, Zero Hedge does like to sensationalize and spin. BLS has not and would not use the phrase "dropped out." Especially since the biggest reason for the drop in labor force participation has come from the elderly.

But let's look at those Not in the Labor Force: A-38. Persons not in the labor force by desire and availability for work, age, and sex
89 million DO NOT WANT A JOB NOW.
Of the 5.3 million who say they do want a job, 3.1 million have done nothing at all...not one application filled out, not one resume sent, not one reply to a classified, not even asking friends or relatives....in the previous year. Sorry, I don't think that someone who can't be bothered to do anything at all to get work in over a year really wants a job. Do you?
So of the 2.3 million who say they want a job and have looked in the last year but not the last month, half a million say they couldn't start work right away even if they were handed a job.
That leaves us with 1.7 million marginally attached. People who want to and are available for work and who have tried to get work recently, but stopped.
1.1 million stopped looking to take care of family or go back to school or were otherwise unable to work for personal reasons.

So, why do you think 94 million people Not in the Labor Force is a problem? Most are retired, disabled, students, or stay-home spouses.

PoliSpice and her walls of text

And she keeps citing CNSNews of ll places

How about you attempt to show that the facts provided are incorrect.
If you think I'm going to follow those rw hack links only to get bombarded w/ Newsmaxx ads, you're sorely mistaken PoliSpice

If you want to be taken seriously, stop w/ the use of sites such as CNSNews, breitbart, TheDailyCaller lol, TheWeeklyStandard, etc...

You might as well just cite the RNC dummy because those are communications arms of it.

Here's more, you liar"

"....according to the BLS, the main reason why the unemployment rate tumbled to the lowest since April 2008 is because another 261,000 Americans dropped out of the labor force, as a result pushing the total number of US potential workers who are not in the labor force, to a record 94 million, an increase of 1.8 million in the past year, and a whopping 14.9 million since the start of the second great depression in December 2007 while only 4 million new jobs have been created."

Do you?

Cut to the chase.

True or not....BLS figures support my claim as to the number out of the work force.

This thread is taking its usual course.

POLISPICE!!!

This wouldn't happen so often if you used half-way agreeable sources but no, you have to go w/ your rw hack sites. Sad :(

Is this an admission that you're a liar?

Excellent.

Says the one that wants to turn this country into haiti or somalia. You're just a fool. lol

As we have become such close friends, need I continue to refer to you by your official title...'MoronMatthew'.....

...or may I use the more familiar 'Moron'?
