Christianity as a faith has always been a fucking odd ball. They literally just took another faith's book and claimed that it was actually their guy.

It would be like Siddhartha Gautama, a member of the kshatriya caste, who abandoned his wealth and privilege to sit beneath a bodhi tree and achieve enlightenment as the Buddha......espousing a moral code of doing no harm to other people, practicing no violence, and embracing the world as it is, without illusion or self-deception.

And then later, years and years after his death, some 'followers' insisting that Buddha was actually another avatar of Krishna.
