Clarence Thomas and the Billionaire.

Because other judges donā€™t get away with similar things. The SC Justices are unique in their ability to do so.
I never stated judges get away with it. You jumped to that conclusion. I do believe Corruption is rampant throughout our government. So itā€™s very likely other judges commit crimes.

Here are just a few from a simple google search.

even if true your link highlights that the things heā€™s exposed of accepting are exemptedā€¦ie hospitality
You are kidding no one here , you're so full of shit and have such a weak mind that you think you can answer anything with more lies/ Who cares about hospitality , not even a issue, Just wacko bullshit . We have your number.

Libs like sealybobo just don't get it. The Citizens United ruling says citizens can give cash to government officials.
Idiot and the law says It has to be claimed to be legal. Neither of the Uncle Toms claimed anything. You also by law can't except a case that involves a person who bribed you with money. Or even just hands you money. Citizens united has nothing to do with anything we are talking about, and it definitely doesn't do anything or have anything to do with the bribes that the Thomases received.

When these haters have nothing ,that's when the real bullshit comes out. I mean really, Citizen united and Hospitality.

Itā€™s very likely others on the SC and judges throughout our justice system do similar things. Corruption reigns. However with any hope, Thomas will face consequences.

This is like when Democrats attempted to make a huge issue of Trump's classified documents ... until Biden killed that with his own much bigger scandal.

Soto-Mayor just made Thomas' issue exactly what it is - a nothing-burger - with her own much bigger scandal.

You don't even know what a case number is , You are so full of loopy crap. "Case citation is a system used by legal professionals to identify past court case decisions, either in series of books called reporters or law reports, or in a neutral style that identifies a decision regardless of where it is reported.Wikipedia" A CASE NUMBER ISN'T THE LAW ITSELF, IT IS A DECISION OF A COURT> You are a real certifiable loser , You can't get anything right.

US. Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas' failure to disclose more than $680,000 of his wife's income in filings over a decade ago has re-emerged as she is set to meet with the House of Representatives January 6 committee.

Lawyer and conservative activist Virginia "Ginni" Thomas was paid $686,589 by the conservative Heritage Foundation from 2003 to 2007 but Justice Thomas did not report that income in financial disclosures for those years.

As The Los Angeles Times reported in 2011, Thomas had checked a box saying "none" in a section of his disclosure that asked for information about "spousal noninvestment income."

Federal judges are legally required to disclose their spouses' income sources. , ANOTHER LIE FROM THESE TRAITORS TO THIS COUNTRY.

What was he bribed to do?
Every time the Supreme sides with corporations and rich people, those things. And I believe that's every time. Do you know that every time the Supreme has to decide between corporations and rich people vs We the People, We the People lose? Every time. So corporations and rich people just have to have expensive lawyers, keep fighting it, appeal, appeal, suddenly the $750 million to Dominion is $100 million. Or the penalty for Exxon Valdez goes from $1 billion to $10 million.

They should broadcast all these cases and decisions now. Democrats should point out each time Clarence votes in favor of polices that favor Harlan Crow.

Hey, don't be native, obtuse, or pretend to be dumb. Imagine if this was a liberal judge.

Oh yea, our judges report the payments they receive for things like book deals. It's called being ethical. Clarence and you know better.

So don't act like you don't love a corrupt Washington DC buddy. Here you see the corruption going on right under your nose and you defend it.

What was he bribed to do?

The justice emphasized that the friend in question ā€œdid not have business before the courtā€.

But a close look at Thomasā€™s judicial activities from the time he became friends with Crow, in the mid-1990s, suggests that the statement might fall short of the full picture. It reveals that a conservative organization affiliated with Crow did have business before the supreme court while Thomas was on the bench.

I have to think this will get interesting. Thomas has taken a ton of trips paid for by a billionaire campaign donor.

On the surface this appears to be in violations of federal law when he reported none of them.

IN LATE JUNE 2019, right after the U.S. Supreme Court released its final opinion of the term, Justice Clarence Thomas boarded a large private jet headed to Indonesia. He and his wife were going on vacation: nine days of island-hopping in a volcanic archipelago on a superyacht staffed by a coterie of attendants and a private chef.

If Thomas had chartered the plane and the 162-foot yacht himself, the total cost of the trip could have exceeded $500,000. Fortunately for him, that wasnā€™t necessary: He was on vacation with real estate magnate and Republican megadonor Harlan Crow, who owned the jet ā€” and the yacht, too.....................................

.....................These trips appeared nowhere on Thomasā€™ financial disclosures. His failure to report the flights appears to violate a law passed after Watergate that requires justices, judges, members of Congress and federal officials to disclose most gifts, two ethics law experts said. He also should have disclosed his trips on the yacht, these experts said.

Clarence Thomas Secretly Accepted Luxury Trips From Major GOP Donor

A bought and paid for Supreme Court judge. That's the very definition of a banana republic.
Itā€™s certainly not good

Thatā€™s a lot of words to essentially say you donā€™t know what Thomas was bribed to do.
Choose business over ā€œthe peopleā€? Guess what? Businesses are owned by people.

can you read or not , no one is talking about a specific court decision. or a specific court case. I wrote down the law itself. Idiot. You are trying to cover up the fact that you have no clue what a case number is even, by dumping more bullshit on this forum, We got your number ace, You are a fake , a liar and a big bullshitter. and you offer nothing here.

Iā€™m speaking of federal judges. Lower court judges have ethical revue mechanisms that allow for investigations of possible violations. SCOTUS does not. There is nothing in place either enforcing ethical compliance or punishing it.
Journalists doing independent investigations is our only firewall to uncovering rampant corruption within the SC.
Itā€™s time to crack down and force them to at least abide by the same standards and practices that the lower court judges adhere to.

He is responding to me writing down the law involved with these Creeps (Thomas's)taking bribes from the wealthy . And boso here is asking for a case name or number. Laws don't have case numbers until they are tested in court , Something that no one here has even suggested happened. This guys a idiot.

The Thomases and scotus are still controlled by law with This aspect of taking bribe money from the wealthy or in fact any money from anyone.

28 U.S. Code Ā§ 455 - Disqualification of justice, judge, or magistrate judge

Agreed. Thereā€™s just nothing in place that allows anyone to know if violations are happening. They either self report or not. Thereā€™s no revue process or ability for investigating violations within the SC.
