Great, this is exactly the kind of thing I worry about and you'll now be seeing more and more in states where pot is legal.
The legal availability of pot will increasingly find it's way into the hands of kids.
Nice going Colorado, you losers !

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — After fourth graders were caught dealing pot at their northern Colorado school, the principal sent home notes asking parents to take care with the marijuana that adults have been able to buy legally in the state since January.

In the letter sent home Tuesday that*KDVR posted on its website, Jennifer Sheldon of Greeley's Monfort Elementary cautioned that because it's easier for adults to get marijuana, children potentially have greater access. She says the drug should be kept locked away.

Theresa Myers of Weld County School District 6 says a 4th grader sold loose leaf marijuana to several students Monday. The next day, another offered to trade an edible marijuana item for some of the loose leaf pot. The district says disciplinary action has been taken.

I have a trip planned for Colorado in July. I'm going to throw them as much of my money as I can

Children will never get marijuana. It's against the law.

yea they aint supposed to get alcohol and guns too.....you are a dipshit Katz....anyone tell you that today?....if not....there it is....

So let's add one more problem to the mix. Brilliant !

Seriously, you people are utter morons if you cannot see that once this crap is legalized everywhere, use by kids will increase dramatically. Since the availability will increase, use will as well.

Great move Colorado and Washington, and the other 48 states to soon follow !

It's bad enough alcohol is everywhere, so hey, let's make sure we get another drug mainstreamed to go along with it.

Bravo America, you stupid slacker-fucks !

Id rather have kids develope a pot smoking problem than a drinking problem. Pot doesnt ruin lives. Pot is actually a really great drug for recreational use. No hang over, no passing out, no overdosing and no fights. Its perfect.

OK. Let's criminalize having even small amounts. That will solve the problem, right?

Oh, seems we have already tried. Hasn't helped a bit. In fact, all it has done is made profit for those in the prison business. Prohibition of a common and easily obtained narcotic only makes it a profitable business for criminals.

The President is exactly right in releasing many of those that have been convicted under the insane War on Drugs laws. And, for your information, I have never used pot in my life, probably never will.

Yup. Just like beer.

And one of the key reasons they drink beer, is due to the availability.

But hey, maybe one of your grandkids will be one of the recipients of the increase in pot induced car accidents.

Pot Fuels Surge in Drugged Driving Deaths - NBC News

Cannabinol, a remnant of marijuana, was found in 12.2 percent of those deceased drivers during 2010, (up from 4.2 percent in 1999). Pot was the most common non-alcoholic drug detected by those toxicology screenings.

“The increased availability of marijuana and increased acceptance of marijuana use” are fueling the higher rate of cannabinol found in dead drivers, Li told NBC News.

It was bad enough we have to watch out for drunks on the road, now with more states either legalizing recreational or medical use, we have to now more than ever watch out for stoners on the road. And as this catches on one state after another, it will only get worse.

Thanks to the slackers of America, otherwise known as the millenials.
