The $750 is called FEMA Serious Needs Assistance and is intended to assist individuals with immediate needs such as food, diapers, formula, gas, etc.
It is not the only assistance FEMA will be providing, it's for short term immediate needs while assistance in an area ramps up and full claims can be processed.
