Conservative Senators: Defund Obamacare or Shut Down Governmen

Just looked up what it would cost to cover my wife with basic care (silver). A bit over 2K annually, if my income was only the SS and pension I have coming, according to the Kaiser Foundation. That I could afford, even at that reduction in income. Many more people will find that if one of them has not yet reached 65, that they can now afford to retire and still have the junior partner covered. A real plus for many seniors. And of course, you in the GOP would just rather "Let him (or her ) die".

I'm not GOP

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few

The Real Number of Uninsured Americans
It's nowhere near 50 million Americans

Considering they only expect 7 million to sign up in 2014, you may be right

Republicans threaten to shut down government if they don't get their way

What else is new?

You say that like shutting down government is a bad thing.

Yes, we have heard that before

Government is useless unless Republicans are running things

Oh no - government is every bit as useless as when Republicans are running things (why do you think you've seen the rise of the Tea Party?).

It's just much less wasteful and corrupt when Republicans are running things (and it's still very corrupt then - just considerably less than the Chicago-style politics of Dumbocrats)

No one is forcing you to be here or to read anything.
Why don't you get a life?

i have one, but you would think you losers would understand the fema camps are never going to happen, there are no ovens ( sadly) the ammo myth is nothing more than your lack of an IQ understanding what is going on.

there is no civil war that is going to happen. Oh thats right, you guys don't want a civil war but do at the sametime.

There is no civilian army coming to take you away.

All this shit is in your fucking moronic heads. You paranoid, delusional, low rent losers.

Then why does Obama need a civilian Army, "just as strong, just as well funded"?

Why is that?

Today, AmeriCorps -- our nation's network of local, state, and national service programs -- has 75,000 slots. And I know firsthand the quality of these programs. My wife, Michelle, once left her job at a law firm and at City Hall to be a founding director of an AmeriCorps program in Chicago that trains young people for careers in public service. And these programs invest Americans in their communities and their country. They tap America's greatest resource -- our citizens.

And that's why as president, I will expand AmeriCorps to 250,000 slots and make that increased service a vehicle to meet national goals like providing health care and education, saving our planet and restoring our standing in the world, so that citizens see their efforts connected to a common purpose. People of all ages, stations, and skills will be asked to serve. Because when it comes to the challenges we face, the American people are not the problem -- they are the answer.

So we are going to send -- we're going to send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We'll call on Americans to join an Energy Corps to conduct renewable energy and environmental cleanup projects in their neighborhoods all across the country. We will enlist our veterans to find jobs and support for other vets, and to be there for our military families. And we're going to grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered, and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy.

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.

So let me get this straight - Dumbocrats involved in the creation of the bill have already called it a "train wreck", the unions who supported it are now begging to be exempt from it, the IRS who will enforce it are begging to be exempt from it, and hospitals are laying off workers in anticipation of it, but you're going to pretend to laugh over it all because you found one article written by radical left-wing libtards? Seriously?

Here - suck this wing-nut:

Not sure I get your point.

Additionally, FM 3-39.40 discusses the critical issue of detainee rehabilitation. It describes the doctrinal
foundation, principles, and processes that military police and other elements will employ when dealing with I/R
populations. As part of internment, these populations include U.S. military prisoners, and multiple categories of
detainees (civilian internees [CIs], retained personnel [RP], and enemy combatants), while resettlement
operations are focused on multiple categories of dislocated civilians (DCs).

Now why do you want to bring that little fact up? Here the rethugs were right in the middle of a right wing wet dream, and you messed it up.

Why did you have to read their posted info? You know how they hate "facts".

you should go down to the border and do something about it, instead of whining on the internet about it. Put up or shut up pussy.

I'm doing something about it, I don't need to go to the border. None of them are ever going to steal my water again or leave their trash around our little community ever again.
Since when is informing the rest of the nation out there about what's really happening whining? The regular news sure isn't informing the nation.

so then you are a pussy. if you where serious you would be on that border with your night vision looking out for mister illegal with your m-16.

I don't have to.
We have our Newly reestablished State Militia men doing that. Like our Constitution says.

Why am I not surprised you are playing dumb!
