Conservatives don't want 'unelected' judges deciding matters of law

So when the Supreme Court goes totally Conservative in the next 2 to 3 years and decides to overturn Roe Vs Wade, you are okay with that? They were unelected and will decide the matters of law...

There is not a single justice on the court today that favors overturning RvW. Do you think we are going to get 9 new justice in the next 2 to 3 years?

You're in the wrong thread.

Trump was unelected. He was appointed by the states' electors.

Roe v Wade overturned? It won’t happen, conservatives on the court or not, they won’t touch it.

And the last thing the Repubs want is for abortion to go away, they would lose 75% of their automatic votes.

But they love the idea of the unelected NRA doing it.

What matter of law has the NRA ruled on with any legal authority to support it?

Never said that.

Oh, but you did.

"Conservatives don't want 'unelected' judges deciding matters of law ... But they love the idea of the unelected NRA doing it."

Do you support the unelected NRA being able to use its lobbying power to block a background check that had 90% support from the American people?

Claiming fantasy support is an old game. That said, I support their using their influence as much as these others using theirs.

When Darth Bader kicks the bucket and she is replaced with a Conservative Judge, you can bet the funding for Planned Unparenthood will suddenly dry up and close like the Clinton Crime Foundation. When those doctors aren't paid with our Tax Dollars, they will go back to their shithole countries and find new sources of income... Cant quote me on that...

Do you object to any organization using its lobbying power or just certain ones?
Seems that it is okay for organizations like UNIONS can contribute thousand times more money to corrupt politicians so then those same can then raise out taxes to give to the unions.

Yes, the polls that ask the general question of "background checks" without going into the details.

Once the details of what progressives want, which would include some bureaucrat deciding if you can get a gun or not, support would drop rapidly.

The NRA isn't even the biggest lobbyist out there, so stop whining like a beaten puppy.

All a Roe overturn would do is send it back to the States.

Maybe then we could proceed with more important matters.

Trump was unelected. He was appointed by the states' electors.

That is how literally every President since George Washington was elected.

Where does the NRA get their power?

They do donate, but compared to what other lobby groups donate it is nothing. They get their power from the support of the American people.

I think you misrepresent the conservative view of judges and the NRA. Judges are suppose to decide matters of law. The opposition comes when their role ventures into legislating and issuing judgements granting power to the federal government on issues the Constitution did not grant it. As for the NRA, they're no different from other special interest groups such as AARP.
