The Dems are trying to set a dangerous precedent where they will not accept results that don't favor them. When it's the other way around, they take the attitude of "suck it up, buttercup", but they won't take that advice when they lose.

Election is over. The recount in Michigan only showed more voted for Trump than originally thought and that there was cheating on behalf of Hillary. Those poll workers weren't so stupid that they had no idea some ballots were repeatedly put through the machine and counted up to six times per vote. Why would a redo be any different other than to have more of the cheating by those who refuse to deal with losing? It would result in even more recounts and it could go on forever. And where would the redo begin? Primaries, so Bernie might get the nod this time without DWS rigging it?

First of all, it would be unconstitutional. That's the main reason. But let me ask you, if we held a "re-do" election, what assurance would that give that everyone would be satisfied with the outcome? If we broke tradition and did one "re-do" why not two or three... or a dozen? See the point? No matter how many "re-do" elections, someone is not going to be satisfied with the outcome.

It's called "losing" and it's something we apparently don't teach young people anymore.

my answer is NO.... Trump won the electoral vote, which means he is our president for the next 4 years, if the electoral college votes him to be on the 19th....

I do find it ironic that all of you who are so outraged with Russian interference didn't say a word when Obama interfered with elections in Israel or tried to influence the Brexit vote. I also can't help but think, if Hillary had won, we wouldn't be hearing a thing about the Russians.

Democrats pretty much operate as a foil to everyone else. They figure out what you stand for and are against it, even if it's something they know is good for us. Especially if they know it's good. Can't have their opponents getting credit for doing good things for the voters.

That's what recounts are for. They're basically a "Re-Do". Don't worry about the people giving you grief for asking questions, I appreciate people who ask questions when they don't understand something, it's how I understand as much as I do, and how I expand my knowledge of any subject.

On the topic of cost and acceptance, the losing party won't accept the outcome if it isn't what they want, it's just how politics works.The cost would also, probably, be quite high... since when the government handles something, it costs multiple times more than what it has to.

The CIA is pedaling a myth. The FBI said they have found no evidence, and the CIA has no intelligence components capable of finding evidence of Russian hacking, even if it happened. Even if they did, and the Russians really did hack the election process, there would be no evidence that they did it. In other words, the CIA are just taking part in Liberal propaganda.
