For those in close proximity to an unvaccinated, unmasked trump Nazi(s), it is better protection to wear the N-95 or the other masks mentioned. This is true whether mask mandates are in place, or not.

The mask traps water droplets which can contain the virus but the virus itself does not have to be encapsulated in water to survive and when not is so tiny it easily moves through the mask and is so tiny/light that it drifts like smoke in calm air

The famous unsubstantiated self fulfilling prophecy Truth is the reason many are not real sick or dying is that only 6-10% of the population gets infected and then of that 6-10% just 5% die from it.
