It's alarming anytime cops murder a citizen, especially one that's unarmed and in police custody. Or, murdering children like the 12 year old boy playing the park. Or, shooting a man 8 times in the back. It's alarming to know cops can play judge, jury, and executioner, and then walk free. I don't have the numbers, and haven't really gathered the stats that represent the killings over the past 20 or 30 years, but whatever the number is, it's got to be sickening and heartbreaking. A much more interesting stat would be the number of cops in our prisons and jails.

Whats really alarming is we have a segment of society that is so disconnected with civilized society that they think criminal behavior should be excused.
Stop canonizing career criminals.

Never said that. I simply noted the difference in outrage factor. Blacks defend their thugs. Whites don't. If the victim were white the family would likely still be pressing charges. But whites aren't going to burn down their own neighborhood in righteous indignation nor are they going to make a big stink about it in the media. Nor would it get the same media play. This is because blacks are professional victims who jump on any opportunity to demand more services from the government to cure their ills (paid for by the taxpayer of course.) They don't really care about the victim. They want free loot from both their local stores and the government.

They aren't "defending their thugs", they are defending their rights to due process and freedom from excessive force from police. If white people were getting beaten up by police and killed because of that beating and people witnessed that injustice, I would suspect they would speak out. However, things would move rather quickly because they have access to the power structure.

Black people do not have access to the power structure at the level that white people do. So when their concerns aren't being dealt with, they will react to it with destruction. Because you can't ignore destruction.

Funny how in Ferguson, Missouri the blame was placed on the fact that there was a white Police Chief and Mayor of the town which automatically made them racists in the eyes of many but in Baltimore, Maryland it isn't the fault of a black Police Commissioner or a black Mayor yet it's still the fault of "white racism"?

I'm curious...when does fault lie with the black community? Ever? How can you have black leaders in an overwhelmingly black community and STILL declare that "white racism" is the root problem? Does that make any sense to you at all? One has to question the motives of those who focus on Police involved shootings when so many more young black men will be killed by other young black men this summer than by white Police officers that it's not even funny, yet you never hear a thing about that "crisis".
