Dear Mayor DeBlazio: Pull All NYPD Protection For Trump Tower Now

New York’s mayor and police commissioner ripped Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday for a Justice Department statement declaring that their city was soft on crime and plagued by gang murders.

The war of words arose from an ongoing dispute between the Trump administration and many large U.S. cities over immigration policy, but Friday’s fireworks were remarkable in that the leader of the largest police force in the country publicly denounced the attorney general, the nation’s top law enforcement official.

The Justice Department — in threatening to withhold millions of dollars in grant money from the New York Police Department if the city doesn’t change its policy and turn over suspected illegal immigrants in custody to immigration agents — said in a news release that New York “continues to see gang murder after gang murder, the predictable consequence of the city’s ‘soft on crime’ stance.”

“Many of these jurisdictions are also crumbling under the weight of illegal immigration and violent crime,” the news release said.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) called that statement “outrageous,” given the city’s record-low crime figures, which are part of a decades-long trend in falling crime that began in the early 1990s.

“Attorney General Sessions is supposed to be the leading law enforcement official in America,” he said. “Why would he insult the men and women who do this work every day, put their lives on the line in order to achieve so much? I would say to President Trump, and to Attorney General Sessions, if you believe this statement is accurate, come here to New York City, look our police officers in the eye and tell them that you believe they are soft on crime. See how that feels. See what the people of New York City will say about that.”

New York Police Commissioner James O’Neill called the Justice Department’s criticism “incredibly insulting” and said there are piles of data to prove that the city is anything but soft on crime.

Sessions is a small little man with small little thoughts. Like Drumpf.

We have to get used to the idea that these people are not fit to run anything, yet they are. It's like putting Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies in charge of something. Except without any of the humor. Cities and states are ignoring drumpf and his cohort of losers as well they should.

And cons, the moment will arrive, likely soon, when Democrats control everything. What do you think the retaliation is going to be like. It will be scorched Earth. So I say to drumpf do your worst don't hold back, because payback will arrive and it will be over the top. This is the world Republicans want.
The Empire strikes back?

Or the beginning of the New First Order?

Payback?

Are we going door to door to round up the Resistance?

What will the retaliation look like?

Mass murder that would make Stalin and Pol Pot proud?
No, what it will be is rescinding all of the orange clown's EO's. Two can play that game. Then a 10% or better increase of taxes on the upper 1% incomes. Plus an increase of 10% on capital gains above $500,000. A decrease in the funding of the military, and increase in the support of the ground troops. In other words, fewer fancy fighter planes, and more Warthogs.

Open trade with nations that have similiar environmental laws, and worker safety laws.

And much more. Don't know why some people always have to equate a change of policy with dead bodies. Social Security and MediCare did not require either.

I'm not the one suggesting retaliation and scorched Earth payback.

DeBlazio needs to pull the NYPD from guard duty at Trump Tower and inform our president to send the Secret Service to watch over his trophy wife and spawn

Nope, no one at all. That Trump kid is costing too much. We have to cut all social programs, can't afford Meals on Wheels or School snack programs and we spend millions supporting the little brat. Forget it. He and the first women can move into the Whitehouse.
Meals on Wheels and Back Pack Snacks for kids is funded by the United Way and other like charities...not the government.

You listed some of what Democrats will do when they have power back except the tax rate on the wealthy will be raised to something like 70%.

That's what you loons claimed during the last election...and nope.

You see as far ahead as the end of your nose. You really live in a world where you think Democrats will not gain control of the federal government again? LOL. Fantasy is alive and well. Read a history book deary.
Libs are still reeling at the fact that their lame asses lost power.
After trying to convince everyone another Republican would never see the White House.

Excuse me while I laugh at you and your idiotic comments.

Crime has been steadily rising under DiBlasio. He likes it that way. He wants to kill off the tourists. If they can travel to New York they have too much money. Redistribute some of it to the gangs.

DiBlasio 's lesbian wife likes the entertainment.

I'm pretty happy with trump right now since the dems have been consciously trying to turn this country into a third world craphole via immigration and refugees from the third world who always vote demorat. Don't need to read a history book to know what these radical dems are up to.

Yeah a third world country where the dear leader puts his children in highly sensitive government positions even though they don't know anything. Your dear leader has already turned the White House into the White Trash House.

But.... future generations will thank Trump for stopping this country from becoming merkle's Germany. These are political actions that can't be undone, since muslims have lots and lots of children. Also, they and other third worlders weigh heavily on our safety nets, which are overloaded the way it is.

DeBlazio needs to pull the NYPD from guard duty at Trump Tower and inform our president to send the Secret Service to watch over his trophy wife and spawn
And Trump should pull all federal assistance from NYC.

Not going to happen. The federal government cannot commandeer non-federal entities, like state or local entities, into doing things for them that they don't want to do. It is not the state's job to enforce immigration laws.

"As the mayor said, it is well established by Supreme Court authority that the federal government can’t use the threat of withholding funds to coerce the states to conform with federal government issued policies," Zachary Carter, the city's corporation counsel and a former U.S. attorney, said this week. "It’s a bedrock principle of federalism and quite frankly a bedrock conservative principle — somewhat ironically."

The states have an obligation to uphold the Constitution. Harboring and abetting foreign Invaders is subversion.
