I’m a lifelong Democrat but I’m probably going to vote all Republican because I believe that in the past three years the Democratic Party has radically changed. It is unbelievable that’s my opinion on the matter people like John Kerry, Al Gore Hillary Clinton even Obama they’re not the same as today’s Democrat. Remember BLM wasn’t a thing three or four years ago ….remember The disgraceful kneeling for the national anthem was never a thing three or four years ago. Priority one is instead of 10,000s of new IRS agents, hire 10,000s of SS investigators to go out and weed out all of the fraudulent claims and take it away from people who did indeed need it at one time, but no longer do.
That would be where to start.
Second, they won't like it, but take it away from people who are receiving it but in no way need it.
That is ugly and unfair, but necessary. If a couple has no debts, on full pensions and 6 figures in cash/investments they don't need Social Security. Even though they paid into it... and normally I would not agree, but under the circumstances it is the fairest thing to do.
