Democrats are not as smart as they would have everyone believe, but Donald J Trump just handed the Dem's a very nice victory on a little silver platter. This could have been so sweet for Trump, he came into office with a good economy, no major wars, and a friendly Congress. Now he's shutting down the government over a border wall that he promised Mexico would pay for. Yes...MEXICO would pay for. Trump supporters, I think even you folks can see the folly in this. Most voters are not buying the Trump version of this border wall fight, and whatever you think of Nancy Pelosi, this old lady has been around politics long enough to know, all she has to do is sit on her wrinkeled old tushy, and wait for more GOP Senators peel away from just like Susan Collins and Cory Gardner just did. The Democrats will win this battle...by default.

He thought he could play hardball with China on trade. It's dragged on too long.

He thought he could play hardball with Congress on health care. Nope.

He thought he could play hardball with the Democratic House. They're not budging.

He still hasn't learned this isn't the NY commercial real estate market. He's met his match on ego.
