Dems refuse all compromises, refuse to even talk to Republicans, shut down govt instead

What "compromises" have the Republicans offered?

Compromising what the other side already has is not a compromise...what have the Republicans offered up that THEY want?

Your brethren dems are now looking like little spoiled toddlers.:lol:

Doesn't answer the question

How do Republicans "compromise" something they don't have? They have demanded that the Democrats give up a law that they fought hard to get. What have the Republicans offered that could be considered a compromise?

Dems never compromised when they rammed the aca down our throats. That kind of defeats your first premise about what a compromise is. Until then, they can sob.

The last CR the GOP House passed before the shutdown had the option to delay the launch of Obamcare for 1 year to fix the glitches. That sounds like a compromise to me.

And, of course, Harry Reid chucked it back at them without even allowing for a vote.

you've been answered previously...why not delay it a year like obama unilaterally did for corps and his cronies? that is a compromise.

so the pubs do in fact have something to compromise.

All laws are compromises and Obamacare involved a lot of compromise. It was voted into LAW.
Now Republicans want to water down that law or else. What compromise are they offering?
Compromise means I will give you something if you give me something

What are republicans bringing to the table?

If Republicans bargained in good faith.....that might be worthy of discussion as a compromise. However, Republicans did the same things during the Clinton healthcare debate. As a "compromise" they offered to work to craft a better bill if the Clinton bill was delayed. The delay saw Republicans take the House and healthcare was dead

Now.....I still haven't seen the Republican part of the "compromise". Democrats delay Obamacare and Republicans do what?

you just shot your argument in the foot. if you can't wait a year, then you are the one who has nothing to offer. if you are so scared obamacare will go by the wayside in one year, then obamacare is worthless.

they have compromised in good faith. obama unilaterally allowed corps and his cronies a year waiver....why not the american people? the compromise is that pubs will delay a year instead of defunding it. further, the pubs gave the dems everything else except this ONE program that already has been delayed for thousands of corps and some unions. if you can delay it for them, you can delay it for american citizens.

you mean a law that obama said was not a tax?

Offer?

ACA is a law. If the events of the last two days are indicative of the demand for the Healthcare Exchanges, it is a law long overdue. Republucans want Democrats to delay one year....what are they offering in return? Republicans don't own those funds. They have already been obligated when the law passed

Do Republicans understand what compromise is?

here is the flaw in your oft repeated argument:

it is the law. great, then why has obama unilaterally allowed corps and his cronies to delay it. why can't the american people get the same delay? you keep IGNORING this, each and every time you respond.

The delay was necessary to allow time for them to document their status. It was a limited exclusion. The American people are clamoring for the exchanges to open up...why delay?

Now, back to compromise

What are the Republicans compromising? We know what they are demanding What are THEY offering to give up

Wrong.

Democrats are more than willing to compromise with regard to current, unresolved budgeting issues.

One cannot ‘compromise,’ however, with regard to the implementation of Federal law in existence for the last three years, upheld as Constitutional by the Supreme court.

The GOP took a bunch of hostages and is now desperately trying to set them free one at a time to get a deal. Ain't happenin'.

All or nothing a few a days ago was fine, and so we will insist on it being fine now. It's the GOP fault too.

Because the software is not ready. This is why it keeps crashing.
They can't even get it to do the subsidies and said that would take 6 months.
The people are trying to join up, it keeps crashing and then they will have to pay for the full amount of their monthly premiums for months before they even know what subsidies they will be getting.
In other words it's not ready for prime time.
If the Senate had compromised and had allowed the bill to be delayed for a year the Government would not have been shut down.

The Republicans compromised three times and three times it was rejected.

The software is overwhelmed by the demand. The servers cannot handle the traffic You have two and one half months to sign up. More than enough time

The insurance companies are ready and waiting

Now...back to compromise

What are Republucans offering to offset the fact that they thought it was important enough to lay off 800,000 loyal workers?

America wants to know

they have had THREE years. total bullshit. they don't need more time. and the american people want more time. if you can give them more time, you can give the american people more time. this law is no where near ready to be implemented. but do keep making excuses for obama's unilateral one year delays while whining about the pubs wanting a one year delay. quite intellectually dishonest of you.

i've already answered you more than once on the compromise. just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean you get to keep asking it ad nauseum.

i see....so how was obama able to grant one year delays to corps and his cronies?

can't wait to the spin on this....

Yes they can make changes on any laws as congress, especially on budgets.
The President can't make changes to a law as he sees fit to do.
He has made many different changes on implementing the law.
The President can't do that, congress has to do that.
