that's ok, you have the market on recklessness, havoc and irresponsibility. you can't project on our goodness. We'll take it then that you are siding with recklessness, havoc and irresponsibility.ohhh look at you all butt hurt, need some butt hurt salve? So, the FBI, the NSA, the CIA and all other intelligence gathering organizations have become politicized. The media has become politicized. The nation at large has become polarized by these new political distinctions. And the level of polarization is beyond comprehension.
Polarization to the point where America and our national ideals have become polarized. Our institutions have become polarized.
On one side stand the Democrats, Liberals, if you will who see Trump as a charlatan, a huckster and a buffoon. A rank amateur trying to 'shake things up' with disastrous effect. His thin skin coupled with his short temper has caused him to say, or Tweet, things no previous president dared do. Some see that behavior as irresponsibility while...
On the other side are the True Believers in Trump. They see a savior, a maverick who is following up on his campaign promises. Someone who cut his political teeth on the Birther issue re-enforcing every suspicion, every fear, every doubt they ever had about Washington and political power. They do not flinch in the face of the havoc Trump has raised, the furthering of polarization, the rash and unpredictable behavior and statements. They see all that as fresh air, a new beginning and they may all agree that kicking down doors will cause some damage. It's all worth it.
But, can we as a nation survive if we adopt this new reality as a new normal? Can we keep moving if weighed down by suspicions and fears and doubt? There are two possible courses of action before us. Either we let Trump be Trump and further erode our national confidence, or we rebuke him in the strongest possible terms telling him that if he wants to govern effectively, he must start acting responsibly.
Every expert, everyone who should know has said that there was no wiretapping of Trump. Not by us, not by the Brits. To claim it is so without providing proof is irresponsible at best, utterly reckless at least and a clear danger to our national security at worst,.
