This was laid out in a book by Jonah Goldberh Im reading now. Thanks.Yes and its bullshit because there is zero evidence any conservative ever used the term. You'll have to try harder. You tried to avoid this before but I saved it for you.Christianity worships death. What you fear is death you little pussy. That's why you cling to Jesus, your free Ticket to Heaven.
We aren't afraid of death. When we die, we get to go to Heaven, and that is a wonderful thing.
Christians look forward to the hereafter.
Unlike the hysterical and hateful anti-Christians.
But anyway, no one has refuted the idea that no conservative ever believed in social darwinism, despite the fact that progressives have been spewing that lie for 75 years.
Yes I do have proof. Its in the dictionary.
Social darwinism - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary
"The theory was used from the late 19th century to support laissez-faire capitalism and political conservatism. "
Fantasies of Social Darwinism The Weekly Standard
But here’s the interesting part: Almost no one else called himself a Social Darwinist either (including Spencer’s alleged co-conspirator William Graham Sumner). Simply put, there was no remotely serious intellectual movement—at least not in America or Britain—called Social Darwinism, and the evil views attributed to so-called Social Darwinists were not held by its alleged founders. Geoffrey Hodgson conducted a survey of all of the leading English-language academic journals from the mid-1800s until 1937 and couldn’t find any evidence that Spencer and Sumner were part of, never mind leaders of, an intellectual movement called “Social Darwinism.” Even more amazing: In the entire body of Anglo-American scholarly publications spanning more than a century, there is only one article that actually advocates—rather than criticizes—something called “Social Darwinism.” And it not only wasn’t written by Spencer, it doesn’t mention him either.
