Does God answer all prayer?

You're over-reacting...it's just a gal in a bathing suit, not porn......quit exaggerating. If you had impure thoughts, that's your fault, repent, change the page and you'll be okay.

The overt sexuality of the image isn't in question.
The question is why you as a believer want that image as what identifies you.

Ir'a just a picture. A lovely girl with a beautiful body, why not? You're way too inhibited about things that don't matter.

Jesus didn't command me to dress in sackcloth and ashes, but regardless, the picture on my avi does not identify my persona, that's your own configuration, not mine.

You misunderstand.
It isn't what I personally find titillating, it is what scripture expects of you and your behavior, and how you pick and choose what matters, as all Christians do.
As for your avatar, that is the purpose of an avatar.

"In computing, an avatar (usually translated from Sanskrit as incarnation) is the graphical representation of the user or the user's alter ego or character. It may take either a three-dimensional form,[1] as in games or virtual worlds, or a two-dimensional form as an icon in Internet forums and other online communities.[2][3] Avatar images have also been referred to as "picons" (personal icons)[4] in the past, though the usage of this term is uncommon now. It can also refer to a text construct found on early systems such as MUDs.[5] It is an object representing the user. The term "avatar" can also refer to the personality connected with the screen name, or handle, of an Internet user.[6]"

I suppose you expect all Christians to show a "cross" as their Avatar? Avatars are just for fun, many on this Forum, who claim to be Christian, use their avatars to make fun of politicians. Others, use them to make fun of people. It's whatever you want it to be...you don't get to dictate what my Avatar represents. I would be honored to look like the girl in my avatar.

You don't even have one, so I guess by your logic you are "nothing"?

Oh well forgive me, I didn't look up the definition that you chose before I decided on my avatar....there are other definitions, too, and you chose the one that describes your opinion...I can play that game.....:D

With what you are praying for?
Friend of mine son is marrying an older woman that has 3 kids and my selfish friend is mad about that, he does not want his son to marry an older woman with kids.

My friend is very religious and is praying hard for this relationship to break up.
Does God answer his prayer request and assist with the break up of that relationship?

I tend to answer my own prayers. My life is up to me...my choices. I do however say prayers for others who request them.

Like people praying, when someone I love is hurting I hope they get better. No god/religion is required for me to give them my best wishes. I believe in karma so it can't hurt to hope for the best just like it doesn't hurt to root for the Spurs to win. BUT, know this about prayer:

Belief in prayer is a form of confirmation bias. Information and coincidences which, by chance, appear to support the belief are favoured and remembered while those that do not are discarded or rationalised. See also: Cherry Picking. If they die it's the lords will. If they live it's a miracle.

By incorrectly attributing supernatural causal relationships to otherwise minor correlations, prayer becomes a form of self-deception known as magical thinking. See also: Wishful thinking.

For the conceivably large number of prayers that occur every day there are relatively few ‘answers’ acknowledged by churches and none that are actually demonstrable, such as the healing of amputees or moving of mountains.

Studies have failed to find any evidence for benefits from prayer that cannot be ruled out as either the placebo effect or a form of cognitive behavioural therapy. In fact, the most comprehensive study performed thus far found that hospital patients who were prayed for suffered more complications than otherwise. So please don't pray for me! :eusa_pray: I'll pray for that.

Every avatar represents the user in some way, whether they intend it or not. It is a representation of something they choose to be identified with.
Yours could be in a teenager's spank bank.

Doesn’t anyone else find it interesting that during the same time god was talking to the Moses, the ancestors to the modern jews/Christians SUPPOSEDLY, the Greeks, Chinese, Egyptians and Pagans were all completely making up their religions?
Anyone with a brain knows why/how/when religion was made up. The Egyptian’s religion, for example, was an effort to provide for the gods and gain their favor from famine and drought. Formal religious practice centered on the pharaoh. Although a human, the Pharaoh was believed to be descended from the gods. He acted as the intermediary between his people and the gods, and was obligated to sustain the gods through rituals and offerings so that they could maintain order in the universe. The state dedicated enormous resources to Egyptian rituals and to the construction of the temples.
Guys like BOSS want to say that because we always believed in something greater than us that is his proof there must be a god. That is ridiculous. When you look at exactly when/how/why/who invented gods, you see it is a tool that they used to control the masses and they continue to use it today. Wake up people.

1. All prayers are answered directly or indirectly.
2. if you ask prayers BASED on CONDITIONS then the outcome is also
SKEWED by CONDITIONS. Be careful what you ask for.

If I were counseling your friend, I would advise them to
a. pray for complete forgiveness of any and all conditions, conflicts, negative will, and
removal of anything that is not from God or in line with God's will
b. pray to hand over this couple (and all issues attached) up to God through Christ
and remove any mental or emotional attachment or condition the person has to them
c. pray for wisdom, understanding, and God's perfect will and love for all people
and NOT ATTACH any conditioned thoughts, desire or will

If you want a straight up answer or solutions by God's will
there cannot be any personal will or condition attached.
Otherwise, you are more likely to get an answer about your learning to
let go and let God be in charge, instead of trying to dictate God's will for God.

Most answers tend to be that, because most prayers have conditions attached
until people learn to let go and trust in receiving God's will as working all things out.

Get fear and unforgiveness out of the way, and God's will can work out the problems.
most prayers are about preparing people's hearts and minds to receive what God already has planned,
and quit being afraid or trying to change it, but change one's perception and trust the right outcome will happen.

What do you find untrue in what I said? Do you think others don't somehow relate to you based on your avatar? That it doesn't represent you to people?
What am I "believing" that you don't find credible?

Well, you must consider the extremely huge number of people praying today, compared to the few goatherders at the time god intoduced this custom. I am convinced he underestimated the consequences of the population growth.
So maybe he found the idea of waiting lines attractive, widely used by the service numbers of software companies, and modified them for his purpose. Once the faithful hear some annoying music after their prayers, we know for sure.
