Doesn’t it bother conservatives that by nature, they don’t embrace new ideas?

Right because the Democrats platform of raise taxes, spend more money, and give the government more power and control is so new and original. I doubt either party has had an original idea in my lifetime.
Good ideas are as rare as hen's teeth, and the Dims certainly haven't produced any in the last 100 years.

The Republican Party runs the same platform every election. There is never anything new. While Democrats are still consistent in every election, they still have many ideas. Shouldn’t we learn from our mistakes and embrace new ideas?

Not entirely true -- conservatives would gladly embrace new ideas if those ideas will take them back to a fantasy time of some 1950's era utopia they keep telling themselves was the last time America was great.
That's how the left spins the fact that Republicans just want to dispose of all the idiocies the left has foisted on us since 1950. They would have you believe that Republicans want to do away with color television and computers.
