Dominionists run for highest office in US

Respond to this you liar.
What about hate crime, becki?

You have yet to provide us with evidence we are in danger of a theocracy. In fact your whole premise is wrong, you see the President has no power to create amendments, pass or even vote on Amendments or change the law.

The only danger we would have of a theocracy was if you could show the following 3 things.

1) that the House of Representatives was in danger of electing 218 or more members of this supposed dangerous religion.

2) the Senate was in Danger of electing 51 or more of these supposed dangerous religion.

3) 37 or more States had majority populations of this supposed dangerous religion.

Without ALL 3 no Amendment can be created or passed and theological change can't happen to our Government.

Notice none of the 3 have ANYTHING at all to do with the Presidency?

The IRA, the abortion clinic bombers, the guy in Norway, the KKK, the Hutaree, the National Liberation Front of Tripura in India, the Manhassi National Christian Army in Assam.

Anyone who harms others or trys to deny the rights of others under the banner of Christianity are not Christians. I have told you that many times.

There is no point in vilifying Christians as a whole. Or the Pentecostal or Apostolic movements.

And dont do the expected and claim that you did not vilify those groups because you have in

this thread and any other thread you can.

I completely agree, those who try to harm others are not true Christians. The problem is, THEY think they are, and THEY call themselves Christians. YOUR statement that ALL terrorists are Muslim is inaccurate.

I wouldn't trust a Pentecostal or the Apostolic movements myself. But, if you happen to be one of them, I won't hold that against you.

I like you.

Dont get all passive agressive on me. You can not claim you like me then bash my faith.

Why would I respond to your post when you're calling me a liar?

I didn't invent the dominionist movment. I didn't invent the connections TWO of YOUR parties POTUS candidates have to the movement. I just pointed it out.

I am bashing dominionism, not Christianity. If you're NOT a dominionist, what is your problem? IMO, dominionism is heresy. Didn't Christ say render unto Caesar that which is Caesars?

You are the one making unsupportable claims. YOU claim ALL terrorists are Muslim. That is NOT true.

Not all Christians are dominionists, but ALL dominionists claim Christianity.

Jake, I'm convinced you haven't cracked a book nor read much on George Washington.

General Washington's prayer was witnessed by a man who owned property near where his troops were camped. He saw Washington and told other townspeople about his praying out in the open.

Most modern scholars believe the Snowden story was wishful thinking. Nice try, though.

But, that doesn't mean that it didn't happen either tho. No one can know for sure, so for anyone to say their 'facts' are correct is very misleading in my opinion. If eye witnesses say they saw it, how can scholars hundreds of years later decide it didn't happen based on their studies. I'd tend to go with the legend, something started it.
Isaac Potts, a colonial loyalist, started it. When he saw Washington praying, it caused him to reconsider his political sympathy to the bloody British. After realizing Washington's sincerity, faith, and belief that he and his American troops asked guidance from God to do what was right, Potts became affiliated with his fellow Colonial Americans very soon thereafter. Washington's prayer was his epiphany about the Revolution. Mr. Potts shared his experience with a Presbyterian minister (mentioned in one of my links, above) who wrote it down verbatim and shared it with others, as he believed it to be authentic and true. I come from a long line of Presbyterians, and I can ascertain to you by my grandmother's willow switch: no lie or profanity gets past them. :D

Washington was a powerfully convincing man, and he was highly regarded by friend and foe. That's why it was said of him he was first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his fellow countrymen.

Not everything the rewriting, socialistic sophists of today's collegiate campuses is true. They have taken their lessons to the degree that if there wasn't a photograph or videotape of anything in the past, well, then, it must not have happened, and they took peoples' letters and diaries and called them hearsay instead of history. The way I learned it, history started when people could write it down on tablets of stone or paper. The colonials could write, and the best and truest writers and speakers were invited to attend the Continental Congress. I might add that John Witherspoon, Presbyterian minister, was the only clergyman to sign the Declaration of Independence.

I don't. I'm not a big fan of ANY organized religion at the moment, yours included.

I think you'd LIKE ME to hate Christianity, in order to justify your anger with me at the moment.

What about hate crime, becki?

Rape is a hate crime, Sky. Murder is hate crime. Child molestation is hate crime. Most crime is hate crime. I'm against crime. In my mind, crime comes from a determination based in sheer hatred as well as arrogance and smug prejudices against the fitness of the victim to deserve something bad happening to them. Crime itself is all about hatred. Taking away from one person and giving it to another is a hate crime based on the arrogance that anyone can morally judge another unworthy of good things he has earned through hard work, thought, or the luck of the lottery. I'm greatly against hate crimes, because all crime stems from unthinking, hateful, and undisciplined passion.

And that's what I think.

Hate crime is different, Becky. It's a crime that is designed to terrorize a group of people, not just the crime victim. It's a crime that sends a message that "your kind" are not wanted.

Do you oppose hate crime legislation?

hate crime is a load of shit.

pretending to have the ability to read a criminal's mind to score points on your victimization scale is weak.
