It's shameful for a major American party to nominate a felon for the presidency, and The Party of Lincoln should go back to the drawing board.

Felons are frequently ineligible for employment and housing, and it’s the height of arrogance for Trump to insist that he, as a felon, be eligible for America’s most important job, which comes with America’s most famous house.

An element of Trump’s crime was to cover up extramarital sex he had with porn star Stormy Daniels while his wife was home nursing their infant son; that he consummated this affair without protection; that if he’d impregnated her, he’d have paid for her abortion in exchange for her signature on a non-disclosure agreement; and that he now seeks to tell every woman in America if and when she can have an abortion.

You might have a point if Trump's multiple convictions were not all politically motivated. He was defacto, tried and prosecuted by one political party...which is the Reason you still see the Republicans standing with Trump. Everyone knows whats up, despite the pretty wrapping paper.

You saw these types of convictions back in the Soviet Union where the PARTY would try and convict other politicians or those who spoke out, and then officially all of them were now convicts.
For all the huffing and puffing about Trump being a threat to democracy, you never saw him try to jail a political rival... the Democrats on the other hand have been trying to get Trump on SOMETHING..anything for years. Just as they went after Justice Kavenaugh, its in this partys DNA to dredge things up and make things up. So in my estimation that, puts them on parrellel with the old soviet tactics. They are much more a threat to the rule of law when they bend and twist it around to fit their pattern.
