Trump embellished statistics about his running mate’s economic achievements as Indiana’s governor.

Donald Trump introduced Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate July 16, but, in doing so, oversold Indiana’s economic performance under Pence:
  • Trump praised Pence for reducing the state’s unemployment rate, which has declined by 3.4 percentage points since January 2013. But that tracked the national average, which dropped 3.3 percentage points during that time.
  • Trump said it was “very unusual” that Indiana has added 147,000 private-sector jobs. Not really. Florida (12.7 percent) and Utah (12.4 percent), for example, grew jobs at twice the rate of Indiana (5.9 percent). In fact, Indiana’s rate lagged behind 20 states and the District of Columbia.
  • Trump praised Pence for balancing the state budget. “Can you imagine a balanced budget,” Trump marveled. But Indiana is legally required to balance the budget, as are all states except Vermont.
  • Trump said Indiana has an AAA bond rating. But that has been true since July 2008 — nearly five years before Pence took office. He also said “very few states have that,” when, in fact, 15 states do.
  • Trump correctly said that Indiana’s labor force has increased by more than 186,000 people under Pence. But he suggested that that was unusual, saying it is going “down, down, down” in other states. The labor force has gone up in 41 states.

The problem you have is Hillary had high approval rating towards the end of her being First Lady, High Senator Approval ratings and High approval ratings when Secretary of State.... Hillary has a very good record in government and all the crap being spouted by you can't change that...

This is complete contrast to the Bush Presidency which is considered to be a disaster... Obama economic record will be considered steady running and solid pair of hands despite the suicidal tendencies of the GOP.

Uh first lady approval rating, not as high as others....but if that's a qualification go with it.

As far as a senator, name an accomplishment?
and the steady record of the Obama government? Are you serious?

SIMPLY THE WORST=> Obama is First President Ever to Not See Single Year of 3% GDP Growth

Obama did avert financial catastrophe. But his economic legacy is mediocre | Michael Paarlberg

Those jobs projected by the Labor Department to grow the most over the next decade are concentrated in low wage service industries: personal care aides (median income, $20,980), fast food workers ($18,910), retail salespeople ($21,780), customer service reps ($31,720).

Woot, he gave us McJobs...thanks Obama!

Over half of all income growth between 2009 and 2014 went to the top 1% of all income earners, who saw their incomes rise 27%, while the bottom 99% got a raise of 4%, according to Berkeley economist Emmanuel Saez.

Barack Obama's Sad Record on Economic Growth | RealClearMarkets

Again, assuming 2.67% RGDP growth for 2016, Obama will leave office having produced an average of 1.55% growth. This would place his presidency fourth from the bottom of the list of 39*, above only those of Herbert Hoover (-5.65%), Andrew Johnson (-0.70%) and Theodore Roosevelt (1.41%)

OUCH!
Damn the rich got richer and the poor got poorer..hmmmm
