If someone buys the buildings, they’ll pay taxes on them. Of course with office space at zero demand in most cities….buying a 1975 government building will be high on developer’s to-do lists. NOT

Depending on where and when their could be a strong demand for property. I'd have to look closer at what his plan really entails, but that won't happen, campaigns are words and glitter. You don't need substance, your messiah proved that.

I do not make the laws of economics but we all do live by them. Greater supply means lower costs unless you have inelastic demand. We used to have our offices in a building that had 70% occupancy max. We built our own campus finally so it’s no longer a big deal except for the service pads.

I understand economics, however your experience by no means is the rule. Your area, the timing and so on is not the rule.

Property values continue to rise, as they do property is worth more. Lots of empty buildings, depending on the place and the demand, the property is worth what someone gives for it on a given day.

Location of a property have more to do with its value than any other factor.

Not sure what you mean by no big deal.
