The opioid crisis was hatched right here in the good ol' US of A by our pharmaceutical companies.

Now that Big Pharma has been busted and put out of action, somebody else had to step up to meet the massive demand they created.

Wrong. The pharmaceuticals created a wonder drug that has made life tolerable for many millions in America and hundreds of millions globally.

Most people take their opioids as prescribed and experience a huge gain in quality of life. There probably is some truth to addictive tendencies but no one ever forced a person to go to the street to get the drugs after the prescriptions ended.

I know of people who have had valid prescriptions for years and wanted to get off. The doctors controlled their cessation very carefully so even the most addicted would get off safely. But if someone chooses to go to the street and buy it, or steal it, then that's their own fault and not the fault of the wonder drug.

When is the last time you heard of someone dying from an prescription opioid taken as prescribed? I bet you cant find an example. If you can, it is still extremely rare.

People who are dying are buying drugs on the street, even knowing that the next pill they take may kill them. That's survival of the fittest. If you are buying your drugs on the streets and the drugs kill you, tough shit. The world is better off when you're gone.
