Each according to his ability, to each according to his need

It is not nice to remind right wing "christians" that Jesus was a bleeding heart liberal humanitarian.
they expect him to bless their bombs and guns.
If Jesus was a liberal, he'd have come down off the cross and put some other poor bastard up there in his place.

Reminds me of the insanity of the Last Temptation of the Christ. Interesting but oh so wrong.

You've got that all wrong. If Jesus had been a Christian, he'd have come down off the cross and allowed another to take his place.

Mark Twain - If Christ were here now, there is one thing he would not be — a Christian.
Jesus was a Jew. Your badmouthing Christians just shows how stupid you are, idiot.

Jesus was smart enough to know that he shouldn't identify himself as a "Christian"

Communism and Christianty don't mix.

Capitalism and Christiantiy don't mix, either.

Christ was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond such silliness, folks.

Why is it so difficult for some people to see the difference between individual actions and government actions? Between voluntary and enforced action?

Communism is the devil's religion because it decieve the people who don't understand what the Lord's trying to teach by immitating it just enough and then throwing in enough to destroy ones soul.
When a rich man approached Jesus and asked him what he needed to do to be saved, Jesus told him to give away everything and follow him.

He didn't take the man's possessions and force him to follow. He asked him to voluntarily give it up.

The man chose to keep his wealth. Chose. Christ didn't force him to give it away to the poor... like communism and all it's collectivist ilk do.

SO, was this rich man NOT SAVED because he chose not to give all his riches away?

Absolutely, the only time Jesus ever got bento out of shape to the point of violence was running the moneychangers out of the temple. And it was the final straw with the curch, they had him crucified very shortly after that.

Now tell me who was the liberal and who was the conservative?

Umm technically jesus was a cult leader. Christianity did not come about till after his death.

he really would not be involved in who gets a tax cut and who doesn't TM....honestly!

He was continually egged on by the Pharisees, to involve Himself with the politics and taxation injustices at hand, but HE continually rejected those people trying to pull Him in to it. This was not His mission TM.

Romans 13 is clear. No one has been able to provide any evidence that Romans 13 does not say that christians MUST submit to the govt authorities.
It doesn't say we must be slaves to authorities. According to your logic, even the slaves should have never been freed because they had to "submit to authority". Their duty under Romans 13 right?

Even Martin Luther King knew that unjust laws must be resisted. But at the same time, he submitted to authorities when he was arrested, he took responsibility. That doesn't mean unlimited submission to authorities.

This is the trick you Liberals use to get religious people to obey tyrannical governments.

No, the rich man was not saved in the parable because his wealth became a stumbling block to him. His love of his wealth was far greater than his desire to follow Christ.

Billy Graham had a great analogy for wealth. Wealth unto itself is not evil, it is a resource. To those in which it is given, God expects to fill us up, but at the same time, we are not to become a cistern but rather a river, and look to share our blessings as the spirit leads us. There are more than a few very wealthy people out there who have mad great companies who went forth and did, as well as still do that. Even to some degree, though I disagree with his choices, Bill Gates does this.

God will grant great wealth to those He desires, and it is always for a purpose, whatever it may be. After that, it's up to you as the individual if so blessed, to follow His lead.

According to christian doctrine, the slaves shouldn't have been freed. And sure enough, before emancipation, many christians argued that The Bible justified slavery

And you can quote MLK Jr until the cows come home. MLK doesn't speak for all christians. In fact, when he was alive, most christians opposed MLK and his policies.

No, it's the trick christians use. I don't believe The Bible to be the truth. Christians are supposed to believe that the Bible is The Word of God. Instead, they will do anything to ignore The Word of God.

According to Romans 13, there is no limit to your submission to authority. You can claim that the Bible doesn't call for unlimited submission, but you'll never post a biblical quote that supports your baseless claim

So if you use your wealth to help others, then that wealth is not an obstacle to your salvation. So how does keeping your computer help others?

And while God has given people the power to decide for themselves, there is no doubt that God wants people to use their wealth to help the needy. Just because God doesn't force you to do so, there is no denying that He wants you to use your wealth to help the poor.

So why are so few christians actually doing what God wants?

Answer: It's because christians find it easy to ignore Gods' Will.

Somehow when you say it Sangha, it looses the context and the Love. You might give that some thought.

Roman's 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

You were the Ass Clown referring to Roman's Chapter 13 Sangha, out of context and distorted as everything you do. I actually did comment in the Post. Why do you even bother with the Bible at all? It obviously has no meaning to you. What is your trip, insulting everything you touch? You babble, accuse, spin, presume one falsehood after another. You act like an authority over everyone else. What is up with you? It must really suck to be you.

Like I said before, your post contains no explanation of the text you posted. All you do is comment on ME. You have nothing to say about Romans 13 in your post

So how does keeping your computer help others?

By pwning apostates like you preaching lies about the Bible. Thank you for allowing my ministry to continue.

And while God has given people the power to decide for themselves, there is no doubt that God wants people to use their wealth to help the needy. Just because God doesn't force you to do so, there is no denying that He wants you to use your wealth to help the poor.

And your sick and evil greed is so powerful you cannot stand to hear of someone else having more than another. Therefore you must lie about what God wants for us by saying the government has the right to steal in you name to help those you desire, without a care for the harm you have caused those who have earned by the sweat of their brow, and fruit of their mind.

13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Sane?Nah!... Where is the love in threatening your neighbor with jail and confiscation if he does not do what your representative orders him to do? Hm? Where is the good from enriching those who have not earned and do not deserve? Reconcile this verse with your evil greed.

13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Note that? envy. The root of your very nature.
