Election Interference: Here are the Four Colorado Justices Who Voted to Exclude Donald Trump from the 2024 Ballot

That's why the SoS have deferred to the Justice system for guidance in applying the 14th amendment.

But, no, the 14th amendment doesn't require a criminal conviction. Like civil cases it only requires 'preponderance of the evidence'.
It requires Congress to make that call do come up to speed when you quote the 14th amendment

Geez. I was being sarcastic! Democrats don’t get to establish it. That is done in a Court of Law, where the defendant is afforded due process and the opportunity to defend himself and call witnesses that refute the charge.

In this instance, there wasn’t even a charge. The Dems at the CO Court “decided” he was an insurrectionist. It will never fly. Thank Gd.
It was done in a court of law with evidence and a Trump team defending.

OK, show us case law that backs you up.
What makes you imagine anyone is obligated to jump through any of your meaningless hoops?

You don’t understand case citations when they’re explained to you.

Even the Colorado supreme court isn't sure what they did was legal.
In pausing its decision, the Colorado Supreme Court said that if review to the nation's highest court is sought before Jan. 4, its stay will remain in place, and the secretary will be required to list Trump on the 2024 primary ballot until the U.S. Supreme Court rules.6
So, J6 wasn’t clear?

Maybe hang Mike pence should privide a brief.

Also, as an addendum, does that mean that Synthia concedes that his damaged little mind can’t recall any cases in which the federal judiciary involved itself in matters of allegedly State law as to election matters?

Watch him spin. :laughing0301:

Insurrection is both a crime and a description of a violent uprising against the government.

Yes a person accused of a crime has the right to defend themself

DJT was not charged with insurrection. He was impeached for it and he was sued in CO for it because a state can’t prosecute a federal crime

There. Direct answers to direct questions
Thank you for your answers, but as you know, he was acquitted of "inciting an insurrection" by the Senate.

So, the CO Supreme Court just prevented Trump for running for office for a make believe crime.

Trump has been denied due process, and the US Supreme Court will overturn.

Regards,
Jim
