Even If J6 Was An Insurrection How Would It Be Trump's Fault?

uh - firearms are not permitted on capital grounds

They are not permitted in schools neither but guess what? Guess where all of the mass serial murdering crimes are committed?

To my knowledge, not one person other than the cowardly officer Byrd actually pulled a gun and USED IT that day.

At noon on January 6, at a rally on the Ellipse one mile from the Capitol in Washington, D.C., Trump claimed election fraud and called on Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election results by refusing to certify certain electoral votes.

Near the conclusion of his speech, several thousand attendees began marching toward the U.S. Capitol, where a crowd had assembled and was clashing with police. By 2 p.m., the rioters broke through the police barricades. The mob then entered the Capitol building, with some people smashing through windows and doors. Soon after, both the Senate and House of Representatives—which were in the middle of debating a Republican objection to Arizona’s electoral votes—adjourned. Vice President Pence and his family were immediately evacuated from the Senate chambers. Some members of Congress were escorted to an underground bunker while others barricaded themselves in offices or sheltered in place in the House chamber.

For several hours,
rioters looted and ransacked congressional offices, including the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; invaded the Senate chamber; and posed for pictures.

At around 2 p.m., Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller called up 1,100 members of the D.C. National Guard, according to a statement from the National Guard. Guard members eventually secured the perimeter, allowing law enforcement and FBI to clear the chambers and offices of the U.S. Capitol. Around 4 p.m., President Trump, who was in the White House, posted a video message on social media in which he repeated his false claims of election fraud, but told his supporters to "go home in peace."

A)

it matters not whether one was used- it was a CRIME TO CARRY ON CAPITAL GROUNDS. they knew it... so why did they bring one? & if they didn't know it, that matter not either - cause ignorance is not a defense.

B)
as for the cop who lawfully discharged his gun & killed a trespassing insurrectionist bitch, who was front & center of a rioting mob ... & who knew fully well that what she was doing was criminal AND the risk she was taking got exactly what she desrved.

that officer is a patriot & hero.

Over three hours of the orange slob gleefully watching his hillbilly insurrection on tv.

A jury will find that to be compelling.
Thirty minutes after they went through the doors, he tweeted to stay peaceful. And he did after that as well. And said be peaceful at the rally.
You people ignore that and I cant understand why.
LOL JK. I do.

When he was busy telling people that they needed to go home? I never really understood that.

It wasn't an insurrection, it was seditious conspiracy.

I think much of it stems from the fact that he did pretty much nothing for 2.5 hours or so while it was happening...except notify his supporters via tweet that Pence wouldn't violate the constitution for Trump's benefit because he wasn't strong enough.

That said, I don't really agree with that logic since he hasn't been convicted of seditious conspiracy. A sad but I think technically correct assessment.

Looks like that this will be discussed more tomorrow morning.
