EV's will save the planet (according to alarmists)

LOL. obviously you have not priced used ones. You can't base your numbers off 10 year old Nissan Leaf sales.
I am basing it on Ford, Chevy, or Ram trucks. Nobody in rural areas want EVs as they can't cover the miles without charging. By yourself a Tesla, those bastards bring nothing at the auto auction

If you say so, it's not true but you can say it is I suppose if you want.

You're nothing but a simpleton.
And you're a thick retard. You've shit your pants over 440ppm co2 and sea level rising 31mm every decade. Once the ice has melted, sea levels will be 200 metres higher, about 5,000 years time. Your, "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" fantasy will achieve nothing.

EV's are just part of that fantasy.

The Cybertruck in the top end configuration is supposed to have a 500 mile range. And when can someone in a rural area make their own gasoline or diesel? Solar panels and a battery, and you can fuel your own rigs. And there are many coming online with 300 and 400 mile ranges. Try to keep up, old man.

I do give a shot about EV but it looks like that's you personal little justification
For denying change. That's how pathetically immature and ignorant you are. Typical brain dead Republican.

You are about a dumb fuck. A meter rise in sea level would be disastrous for most port cities, and the uncertainty about the Thwaites glacier are causing scientists to warn us we could see that much sooner than anticipated.

which does not even begin to address the loss of buying the piece of shit
Do you get off on lying? Here are the facts;

"In contrast, Teslas hold their value at an almost unheard-of level. In fact, data indicate that the Tesla Model 3 can retain its resale value over 5 times better than all other electric cars and about 4 times better than all cars in general.Aug 3, 2021"

Oh dear, the forum retard. "Meter" is a device that records usage, as in, an electric, gas, water meter. A "Metre" is a unit of length.

The seas are rising, they've gone up and down like a fucking yo-yo over millions and billions of years. Humans built on flood plains and in areas of low sea level. The Netherlands were stupid enough to reclaim some land from the sea and then live on it. Everyone in those areas better put their accommodation on stilts, or go live somewhere else, or drown. It's not rocket science retard.

And your dumb brain thinks saving 17% to 30% vehicle emissions is going to save mankind from this pending disaster. You are a truly thick pillock.

And your "Sky is Falling" dilemma didn't stop Obama buying a mansion beside the sea. Because even he knows you're dumber than a box of rocks.

One if five EV owners return back to an ICE vehicle. And guess what numb nuts? California is leading the way.

Colin norris you haven't told me yet at what co2 concentration levels is dangerous and at crisis level.

We're currently on 440ppm, the dinosaurs flourished in 2,400ppm, so at what level is it disastrous for us? I need your expert knowledge.

There was a period in the 1970s when several small companies were busily re-manufacturing World War II surplus 4-wheel drive vehicles because the shit Detroit was building wouldn't stand up to a week's ordinary use in rural areas.

They were effectively legislated out of business.

With enough aggressive popular support something similar could happen again. Of course such vehicles would need to be armored and armed.......

electric car buying guide

The electric car market is growing quickly, with over 365,000 pure-electric cars on UK roads at the end of November 2021, and more than 705,000 plug-in models if including plug-in hybrids (PHEVs).

With increasing consumer demand, greater availability of vehicles and government support, sales of electric vehicles are growing strongly in parallel to the development of UK charging point infrastructure. The profile of new registrations of electric vehicles in the UK since 2012 are shown in the charts below. For clarity when looking at the figures, there are two main types of electric or plug-in vehicle included in the analysis – battery electric vehicle (BEV), which are also referred to as a pure electric vehicle, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

Also charted are the number of models currently available as well as the number of publicly available charging points according to the Zap-Map database.
