Its last conviction was for an aggravated armed robbery with a deadly weapon, in 2007. It only got sentenced to five years for that crime—an absurdly light sentence giving the severity and circumstances of that crime. Especially given its past established criminal history, it ought to have been kept locked up for at least twenty years, and preferably for life.

For what, a simple robbery. The average time served for armed robbery is 5 to 10 years. So Floyd served about the average.
