Can't stop thinking about this one.. For the IG office to have acted that decisively -- there must be clear evidence that this was way more than incompetence or a couple rogue activists in lab coats. Because the OIG can't stop politicians from misrepresenting or lying with statistics of the data. All partisans do that.
I guess the line is drawn where it SHOULD be. Which is manipulating or falsifying the data itself. You can screw with the interpretation of the numbers --- but you can't screw with the numbers themselves..
