It is easier to put on a hasp and padlock than to actually have some body come and bore and route the interior door for a highgrade deadbolt, even if it had a lock block in place, which is unusual for an interior door slab, so would require additional reinforcement to be cut and gled inside the new bore hole, but hey, it was only supposed to be a temporary fix enhancement for short term.
