First insurrectionist removed from office under 14th amendment

Nigel chilledcotex also engaging in shame based manipulation of behavior efforts which fails miserably on Us Thinkers.

Despite all the bad news in the world,, there is some good. The very first time an elected official lost his job because of his insurrectionist actions on January 6 is cause to celebrate! And, it is the first time a judge used the word "insurrection," which the January 6 riots obviously were.

It is great to see the wheels of justice turning, though so slowly.

SANTA FE — A New Mexico judge ordered Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin be removed from office, effective immediately, ruling that the attack on the Capitol was an insurrection and that Griffin’s participation in it disqualified him under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. This decision marks the first time since 1869 that a court has disqualified a public official under Section 3, and the first time that any court has ruled the events of January 6, 2021 an insurrection.

Mr Griffin will go down in infamy as a result of this. Children in Dem states will learn his name. Perhaps not in GOP states.
Mr Griffin will appeal and win, you dumb fucktard.

God you people are stupid.

Everything Chilledcotex is having an orchestrated tantrum about has already been provided at USMB during this year and last
Like most libs it doesn’t want to do the work and keeps hollering that it be done for it.
You are the guy who lies about the vax every day.

thread #67 on this topic

yes? the constitution? show us how it followed the constitution

14th amendment, Section 3
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Astroboy's whole world revolves around whatever the Democrats spoon feed him. What a sad life.

There hasn't been an insurrection. The person in question was not charged with insurrection.

Judge is a Democrat at the First District Court in Santa Fe in northern part of state, ruling on an election commissioner from conservative southern Otero County. Couy Griffin is wildly popular in his county, winning with 65% of the vote over the Democrat, but the Judge, Francis Mathew, now tells those people they cannot be represent by Couy. The judge unilaterally decided, with Griffin being charged or convicted of treason, that he was an "insurrectionist" according to the label put out by the media.

Half the country believes Jan. 6 was a set-up, with the FBI confirming it had infiltrators within the crowd, which was openly egged on by FBI asset Ray Epps who has faced no charges, and Antifa sympathizers and professional agitators like John Sullivan.

"No Sonny boy. Statements are accepted as presented."
Well, that could very well be the case.

There are different expectations.

So, either you got the goods to back up your own claims.....as you say you do. Or you don't.
When asked to demonstrate they know what they are talking about....smart folks, responsible folks, honest folks do so.

So now your hand has been called. So show.
Or leave the table so other more serious-minded contributors can contribute.
Don't take a seat at the table that you cannot fill.

No disrespect intended.
