It might show some bias against her, butt then again, being a point guard, being as dominant as she is..... she puts herself in the mix, as a fierce competator. No doubt she is on the opponents radar every game, and stopping her would be part of the game plan.
Still 17% seems extremely high. Theres probably a lot of veterans who are jealous and want to Check the rookie
