bureaucracyIf marriage is now a right that everyone and any sex can participate in, then why do we need a human to process the forms? Seems like something that could be just done on line.

Her job got in the way of her religion. You don’t have to keep telling us you’re closed minded we all know that. Remember don’t let your religion get in the way of your job or you could end up with a hefty fine.
You can walk away and be wrong someplace else if you wishYou're still squeaking, bleating and squawking. Find a new audience
She is paying for it now and hopefully learned her lessonHer job got in the way of her religion.

I don't think so. Otherwise it would have already been automated.bureaucracy
My plan is to continue to try and educate you because you need it. If you choose to stay stupid it’s on you. Remember don’t be like Kim and let religion get in the way of your job. It has bad consequencesI choose not to. What's your plan, Squeaky?
You're in over your head
But government is not supposed to supplant religion I thought? She is paying for it now and hopefully learned her lesson
That would get ride of a government job and can’t be toleratedI don't think so. Otherwise it would have already been automated.
They are not saying she can’t be Christian, they are not saying she has to agree with gay marriage. They simply wanted her to do her job and she refused. But government is not supposed to supplant religion I thought?
Actually, by forcing her to grant the license, they ARE saying g she must agree to Sodomite fake marriageThey are not saying she can’t be Christian, they are not saying she has to agree with gay marriage. They simply wanted her to do her job and she refused.
Yeah but why should the government make her do something against her beliefs? They are not saying she can’t be Christian, they are not saying she has to agree with gay marriage. They simply wanted her to do her job and she refused.
No they are saying she has to do her job, she is still free to hold whatever conviction she wants.Actually, by forcing her to grant the license, they ARE saying g she must agree to Sodomite fake marriage
Just like the guards at Auschwitz. No they are saying she has to do her job, she is still free to hold whatever conviction she wants.
Because that is the policy a she has to treat all marriages equal she doesn’t get to pick and chose what policies to uphold at her discretion. If her religious beliefs were no straight couple should marry does the government need to stepYeah but why should the government make her do something against her beliefs?
Except she was not forced into the job nor assigned the job. And she had the ability to resign because her religious convictions didn’t allow her to perform her duties without the fear of death or imprisonment. So no nothing like the guardsJust like the guards at Auschwitz.
The SS ran Auschwitz and the guards did what they were told to do which resulted in stuffing people in gas chambers and burning their bodies. If they resisted they would have been shot. In this case the clerk was made to pay over 2 grand for adhering to her religious faith.Except she was not forced into the job nor assigned the job. And she had the ability to resign because her religious convictions didn’t allow her to perform her duties without the fear of death or imprisonment. So no nothing like the guards
She could have resigned without fear of retribution unlike the guards. They are in no way the same. The SS ran Auschwitz and the guards did what they were told to do which resulted in stuffing people in gas chambers and burning their bodies. If they resisted they would have been shot. In this case the clerk was made to pay over 2 grand for adhering to her religious faith.
It’s not wrong it’s what happens when you violate someone’s civil rights. This is all on her. She could have prevented it.and the punishment for that is being fired…not a quarter of a million dollars lol…
She was an elected official it’s not as easy as you’re fired. She could have just done her job and kept her moneyAnd the punishment for that is being fired…not a quarter of a million dollars.
