Former Kentucky Clerk In Gay Marriage Case Must Pay Additonal $260K.

You don’t have to keep telling us you’re closed minded we all know that. Remember don’t let your religion get in the way of your job or you could end up with a hefty fine.
Her job got in the way of her religion.

I choose not to. What's your plan, Squeaky?

You're in over your head
My plan is to continue to try and educate you because you need it. If you choose to stay stupid it’s on you. Remember don’t be like Kim and let religion get in the way of your job. It has bad consequences

But government is not supposed to supplant religion I thought?
They are not saying she can’t be Christian, they are not saying she has to agree with gay marriage. They simply wanted her to do her job and she refused.

Yeah but why should the government make her do something against her beliefs?

Because that is the policy a she has to treat all marriages equal she doesn’t get to pick and chose what policies to uphold at her discretion. If her religious beliefs were no straight couple should marry does the government need to step
In and say that’s not your call? Can she deny interracial marriage if she felt it was against her religion? If she agreed with polygamy she should be allowed to ignore the polices against it and issue certificates?

Just like the guards at Auschwitz.
Except she was not forced into the job nor assigned the job. And she had the ability to resign because her religious convictions didn’t allow her to perform her duties without the fear of death or imprisonment. So no nothing like the guards

The SS ran Auschwitz and the guards did what they were told to do which resulted in stuffing people in gas chambers and burning their bodies. If they resisted they would have been shot. In this case the clerk was made to pay over 2 grand for adhering to her religious faith.

She could have resigned without fear of retribution unlike the guards. They are in no way the same.

It’s not wrong it’s what happens when you violate someone’s civil rights. This is all on her. She could have prevented it.and the punishment for that is being fired…not a quarter of a million dollars lol…
