Four more journalists get felony charges after covering inauguration unrest

Act like a jackass and karma always comes back to bite you in your own ass.
The problem is were they really charged fairly. They are just journalist.

If you were asked for footage of someone else committing a crime and hindered the investigation by refusing, that would be a crime.

If you lied and were active participants in the violence, you could be arrested.

Luckily there's no freedom of speech in the US, otherwise this would be unconstitutional.
If a 'journalist' throws a brick through a window, is it unconstitutional to arrest them?

No, is there any evidence a journalist threw a brick through the window? Why would a journalist do that? The report states that the journalists were covering the event. They were corralled in with the protested and then arrested. They wording of the reports are similar if not identical, making unspecified statements about what was happening, NOT what the Journalists were doing.

We don't know what happened. The police and prosecutors haven't commented on evidence in this ongoing criminal proceeding. At least two of the "journalist" are also listed as activists. If the prosecutors have no evidence of wrongdoing, that will come out in time.

The article explains why the "journalists" were arrested, folks, they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Reminds me of the old joke about two friends arrested for stealing watermelons. The kid caught with the watermelon confessed to stealing it when he stood before the judge. The friend denied stealing the watermelon and argued that all he did was hold the barbed wire apart so his friend could make his escape more easily.

It is no secret that these journalists are about as leftwing as the protesters and probably were enabling them in some way, perhaps acting as watch outs or passing long information or they probably would not have been arrested. That the violent protesters allowed them to remain among them is a clue that these jack offs were probably involved somehow.

The National Lawyers’ Guild accused Washington DC’s metropolitan police department of having “indiscriminately targeted people for arrest en masse based on location alone” and said they unlawfully used teargas and other weapons.

“These illegal acts are clearly designed to chill the speech of protesters engaging in First Amendment activity,” Maggie Ellinger-Locke, of the guild’s DC branch, said in a statement.
The journalists should be happy about it, they will become cause celebre on the left for the rest of their lives.

You'd think that the evidence would be there before they arrest all those journalists, right? Instead the police are like "oh, you were there, so we're going to presume you guilty"

We don't know what the evidence is FW...we only have one side of the story.

We have some evidence, and that is that they literally wrote the same thing for them all. Why?

Because they all copy one another...haven't you noticed that?

Oh sure, they copied each other by managing to get themselves arrested for seemingly doing nothing other than reporting.

Oh, sorry...I thought you meant the articles were all similar.

What else are they going to say? "I was there but I wasn't doin' nuttin'."

Where have I heard that before?
