Gawd almighty - aren't U.S. Presidents, allegedly the most powerful persons on earth, supposed to be able to stand up for themselves? Maybe Trump could find his balls, if he so much cares about some perfectly inconsequential guest on the perfectly odious Faux News Channel exercising his freedom of speech in the usual mannerless way. Though, in Trump's case, calling him "mentally ill" would inject a measure of truthfulness that makes me doubt it ever happened.
