Garland, "I am not the president's lawyer"

History will record he has acted with amazing impartiality in an era of hyper partisanship.
The history where the great reset is complete, you own nothing, have absolutely no rights and are still stupid?

I prefer a timeline that ends up with freedom, instead.

Sure, a mob smashing through barricaded doors gives justification to view them as a threat. Any reasonable person would tell you that. If you were on the other side of those doors, you'd feel threatened.

You can keep bringing up the officers on the other side of the door but based on controlling SCOTUS precedent, that's not relevant.
Seeems you solved this epidemic of smash and grab violence. Business owners simply need to arm up and start shooting these violent criminals in the head. Problem solved.

It really doesn't. The reasonableness standard applies to the circumstances for the officer involved. Not anyone else. Beyond that, multiple officers in that hallway felt threatened as well.

She was climbing through the smashed in door window, she's the threat. This isn't complicated. Any reasonable person would reasonably believe she was there to cause harm.

It has to be compared to similar officers in similar situations and any cop shooting someone 1/2 way through a window instead of detaining them would have their asses fired.

Change it from a black cop and a white woman to a white cop and a black woman and now what do you think of the shoot?

Not a deadly threat, and that's when you use deadly force.

Many dozens of officers had been attacked by this point in time and this fact was known to every officer in that hallway that the mob was breaking into.
Name one officer that was attacked inside of the Capitol building, Marener! The truth is that the protesters clashed with Police trying to get inside the Capitol building. Once they were inside they didn't hurt any Police officers. They were there to stop the certification of the election...not to hurt anyone...despite the narrative that Democrats and the Main Stream Media have pushed non stop since Jan 6 took place!

Marty will give you a generalized specious response.

I am giving very specific responses, Marner has no response except "the bitch deserved it" so let me try to justify it.

Just like you can't actually respond to the wording of NY's new abortion law and have to dodge and duck.

Was she a threat to the Police officers who had been standing in front of the doors literally minutes before Byrd shot her at point blank range? Did Babbitt do ANYTHING remotely violent that day to any other Police officer inside or outside of the Capitol building? The answer to THAT is obvious...NO! Thousands of hours of video from that day and none of it captured Babbitt doing anything violent.

People can reasonable react differently to different circumstances.

A cop trying to detain someone in a car might reasonably take two steps to get out of the way of the moving car. Another cop reasonably (according to conservatives) can start unloading their magazine into the car.

Anyone on the other side of that door could reasonably feel threatened. That’s the standard. Not if you were down the hall. Not if you were in a different building. If you were standing there on the other side of the doors with the large violent mob starting to come through the window.

John Edgar Slow Horses responded to Marty's answers on the abortion question. He is not the decided, the doctor is. He has shown no reason why the doctor should not be the decider.

Who was hurt or not hurt inside the Capitol is irrelevant to this discussion. The officers had no idea if Ashlii was armed or what were here intentions. She was told to stand down and stand back. Yet she came head through a smashed out window and was shot. Legally, appropriately.

Garland is the most corrupt Attorney General ever in the history of the Republic and was appointed by the most corrupt President.

Shooting an unarmed woman hanging in a window is never reasonable.

All this semantics just to say "fuck the bitch, I'm glad she's dead".

Climbing through the window is violent entry.

The officers standing in front of those doors got out of the way because, wait for it, they were threatened.

More quote function fuckups, god you are a fucking tard.

Did she have a gun in her hand while hanging through the window? Why wasn't anyone else shot?

Into a private residence, responded to by a private citizen.

Law Enforcement rules of engagement are entirely different.

The "violent mob" that had just allowed Police to peacefully walk away from where they were stationed in front of the doors? The "mob" that pleaded with those Police to not try and block the door because they didn't want them to get hurt? So what happened in the minute between THAT taking place and Lt. Byrd stepping out of hiding and shooting an unarmed female at point blank range that made that group of protesters so threatening?

Sure it is. If an unarmed woman were climbing through your window, you’d reasonably be able to shoot her.

Again. Nice and slow so you get it. Rules for law Enforcement are not the same for a homeowner in their own house.

John Edgar Slow Horses: Marty is getting mad about being a non-decider. Marty, old boy, you don't make the decisions on this. You are specious.

ps: He can't stand being put into context.
