Gas prices: Biden's or Trump's

Covid had a ton to do with it.
interesting though....but you just highlighted for us that crude oil was higher, prior to Covid....yet gas prices lower.

There are really two major things contributing to this, OPEC...XIden's inability to have any influence over those nations, and two the producers in America reacting to the Xiden admin, and the Dem Congress policies and stated energy policies. The reality is those policies aren't new, and frankly it's been the stated goal of the left to have higher gas prices, going back to the Obama admin

Nobody has ever been able to control OPEC. Gas went to over $4.00 under Bush also. Oil is around $84 right now. It went to almost $150 under Bush. Was that because of Bush's desire for high prices?

Oil hits record above $144 on U.S. inventory drop

Or was it because like OPEC said? Irrational markets.

Bush was dealing with a war in the middle east.

But it does seem that Trump was, considering he was able to keep prices low. So thanks for highlighting that.

We ran out of toilet paper under Trump. People and the markets are irrational.

No he doesn't control oil prices.. US oil production increased to 10 million bpd from 6 million bpd when Obama was president but he had nothing to do with it..The price per barrel was high so the oil companies invested in additional concessions, rigs, exploration and drilling. That's how it works.
Did you like the gas prices during Trump's time, or do you prefer the prices under Bejing Biden?

How much was a gallon of gas? Gas was lower, every year that Trump was President then Xiden...Covid had nothing to do with it. Nice try

So what you are saying, is that it's more then just the price of actual oil that is driving up the price of gas....I agree.....welcome to the Xiden America
That's not true. The average cost of regular unleaded hit about $3/gallon in the spring of 2018. It's $3.40 now.

Poor fucking moron, that's why I included a link to the underlying data showing production of fossil fuels didn't decline.

Are you ever not a fucking moron?

Ever??
Now he's back pedaling furiously because he posted irrelevant data.

Are you ever not a fucking moron?

No it didn't, dumbass. It hit 2.90, and for most of the Trump administration it was a lot lower.

So lower then, then now....gas never got to 3 dollars...it did get close in October of 2018, but declined....the gas prices under Xiden have continued to climb...and there is no sign of it stopping....but to be fair to Xiden and the Dembot cults, the price of everything under the XIden hyperinflation is going up.

but actually here are the prices: U.S. All Grades All Formulations Retail Gasoline Prices (Dollars per Gallon)

Covid had it under $2. Not really a good trade.
in Feb of 2017 he had gas below two dollars...that wasn't Covid...and he keep gas generally around the 2 dollar range...never getting it over $3.00. Gas prices in 2020, weren't that far off from what gas prices were for most of his time in office.

Prices weren't under $2.00 then.
