The Middle East has never been this much of a FUBAR.
George Will is right - for the left, all that needs to happen to make something true is for one of them to say so. Everyone applauses and congratulates themselves.
Syria's Assad is a great example. He has rid his chemical arsenal by only 4%. Yet, because Obama said it would happen - everyone thinks there is no chemical weapon problem in Syria anymore. And the media? - Well they are not going to report ANYTHING that would make Obama look bad - so it is true all Obama has to do is SAY it will happen. And in the magical land of liberals **POOF** it happens. Yay!

I will say that George is very, very close.

I have become convinced that very, very few of them are well-intentioned anymore.

George Will hasn't nailed it in years. Talking heads have a shelf life, sometimes they manage to pull an interesting moment out of their butts but that's as good as it gets. Journalism requires fresh thoughts and faces.

I say respect him for past works but at some point, they have to get out of the business. Like Tom Brokaw, he just seems senile to me anymore.

More importantly, did you read the article? What did Will say Obama was right about? "Obama is muddled about his own red lines but he is rightly cautious about what it is possible to know about the Assad regime’s behavior."

Sorry, but I happen to agree with the idea of staying the Hell out of Syria. Apparently George Will believes we should get involved in yet another war. I guess he hasn't learned anything.
