Edwards was and remains a very wealthy man, who could have paid for the effort to conceal his affair. There is no evidence that the campaign paid for it, and in fact though indicted, he was found not guilty on one count, and the the other five counts could not be decided by the jury. The DOJ did not retry Mr. Edwards.

If you have credible evidence that the campaign did in fact pay to conceal his affair. then post it. If not, it appears you've made a mistake or lied. Which is it?
