Giuliani Says Trump Repaid Lawyer For $130,000 Payment To Stormy Daniels

I don't give a $HIT about Trump and Stormy Daniels, as the issue has been brought up as a desperate attempt to get Trump on ANYTHING the liberals can find, which is a blatant admission they have NOTHING else - No illegal Russian collusion, no evidence of a crime ever being perpetrated warranting an initial investigation (or Mueller's).
So you think the collusion with Russia was legal?
There was none and that has not been under investigation for a while. We are on to Cohens and Trumps business practices, many of which occurred before Trump began thinking about being President

The NDA with Ms. Daniels was signed 2 weeks before the election was held. That isn't "before Trump began thinking about being president".
When did the event happen?

The affair happened back in 2006, shortly after the birth of Baron Trump. The NDA happened in 2016, 2 weeks before the election. That is 10 years he apparently wasn't worried about his marriage.

And, he wasn't worried about his marriage when the NDA was signed. He was worried about losing the election.
And he's allowed to be concerned about it. He is not required to be an active participant in his own potential demise

There are some legal experts who say that the $130,000 should be considered an "in-kind campaign contribution".
Trump And Campaign Finance Law: The Fundamentals Still Apply

While it surpasses the legal limit, it seems that it doesn't apply to Trump because it seems he can contribute as much as he wants to his own campaign, however, the problem is now that it is undeclared. Plus Cohen's payment can be seen as an undeclared campaign loan.
Did Rudy Giuliani just make things worse for President Trump? Some legal experts think so - The Boston Globe

Did Hillary disclose that she is a carpet muncher? That could have effected some votes
We have exactly as much factual proof that she is one as we do that Trump collaborated with Russians to make the election go to him

When did the event happen?

Don't be an idiot....you're trapping yourself into a corner...

The "event" happened 11 years ago.....The hush money was handed out a few days before the election.....

If you can't see the "problem" there.....just go back to bed.
There is no problem there. The time frame of payment is irrelevant. Trump had no legal or moral obligation to disregard Stormy blackmail and allow her statements to become public.

We know it caters to you liberal fantasies of fairness and your delusion that if the info had gotten out then Hillary would have won
Of course he had no legal or moral obligations... what he did have was the desire to win an election. Couldn’t have no stinkin’ porn stars yappin’ about him cheating on his wife with them. Not with an election just weeks away.

Now if you can show Hillary spent $130,000 on some fine cashmere that she didn’t report to the FEC, you might be able to get her into as much trouble as Trump is facing now.

Makes sense to me and entirely appropriate. Glad you agree. He did not have to voluntarily vomit on himself either just so Libbies could see it and know about it

Glad we agree that he hushed up a porn star to win an election.

Does anyone care about Stormy Daniels? No. Would anyone have cared at the time of the election? No. This is an entirely private matter.

WTF?

That’s what I said and then you agreed with me.

Who knows then what explanation you have for hushing up a porn star about an affair just weeks before an election? :dunno:

No, it's not a private matter. Because it can be seen as an in kind campaign contribution, it's a legal matter, and Trump needs to answer for it.

Nobody cares about Stormy Daniels. Nobody.

Except the President of the United States, to wit;

"Role," you dumb fuck. Not 'roll.' ROLE.

Christ but he's a special kind of stupid.

And he's STILL spouting that sorry ass story. Ms. Daniels didn't say shit until your inconsequential "handles a few small, very small, things" (like your DICK?!) opened his fat-ass mouth, thus negating the NDA.

Donnie 'Two Scoops' and his 'Sleepy Eyes' Cohen were working on more money laundering schemes for the Filthy Don Organization. FBI will get more song from the birds in this case. Believe me.

Giuliani Says Trump Repaid Lawyer For $130,000 Payment To Stormy Daniels

Lol. Thank you Uncle Rudy!

I thought Trump didn't know about the payment?

Expect Rudy to be fired soon.

I watched Giuliana's interviews on Fox and have never in my life seen such a rabid and purposely innacurate commentaries on them. Trump paid a monthly retainer to Cohen to represent his personal and business interested WITH NONE OF THEM DIRECTED TO THE CAMPAIGN. There is no proof that Cohen even told him about the $130k payment to the whore and Giuliani never said he knew about it AT THE TIME!

‘I was going to get this over with’: Inside Giuliani’s explosive Stormy Daniels revelation

"He may have had a strategy, but Rudolph W. Giuliani hatched it almost entirely in secret.
The White House counsel had no idea. Neither did the White House chief of staff, nor the White House press secretary, nor the new White House lawyer overseeing its handling of the Russia investigation.
They watched, agog, as Giuliani, the president’s recently installed personal attorney, freestyled on live television Wednesday night about the president’s legal troubles and unveiled an explosive new fact: that Trump reimbursed his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen for the $130,000 paid to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels to ensure her silence about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump.
Giuliani’s attempt to defuse a ticking time bomb exposed Trump’s failure to divulge the full story about the Daniels hush money and highlighted contradictory public statements from him and White House spokesmen. One month ago, Trump told reporters that he did not know about the payment to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, or where Cohen got the money to make it.
Aides and advisers to the president — who were scrambling Thursday morning to manage the fallout of Giuliani’s interview with Sean Hannity, a Trump-friendly Fox News Channel host who also has been a Cohen client — expressed a mixture of exasperation and horror. One White House official texted a reporter a string of emoji characters in response, including a tiny container of popcorn.
A second White House official, who like most others interviewed for this story spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic, said of the president, “His story is obviously not consistent anymore.”
The episode was just the latest convulsion for a White House that perpetually navigates turbulence, careening from one crisis to another, most of them of the president’s own making. It has become standard operating procedure for Trump and his aides to deceive the public with false statements and shifting accounts.
“It’s about time that our public officials started telling us the truth,” said one former Trump adviser who remains close to the White House. “There is nobody in America who didn’t think the president had the affair with the porn star. I doubt there’s anybody in America who didn’t think the president had Michael Cohen pay off the porn star."
