I don't know if anyone ever turned water into wine (at least without the aid of some sugary/starchy food like fruit or wheat) but I have walked on water!!!

To be honest, it is not that amazing---walking on water. Not only have I done it, I have seen many others do it too!! Jews, Christians, Muslims, even Buddhists!! Even little Kindergarten kids have done it!!

You probably have too, Luddly!! I am pretty sure you have, you just probably did not take time to realize it when you did.

Well, I have done something even more amazing!!

I have turned Wine into Water!!!!

Again, not that amazing at all. In fact, it is a pretty simple process but it could take some time to do. I don't like performing this feat except after celebrations such as New Year's Parties.


Hey, I remember that back when I was a teenager, I turned Wine into water and then Walked on that water. Nearly slipped and broke my neck!! I guess I was too busy letting the spirits move me.

Can be an enjoyable experience--letting the spirits move me. But it comes with some risk.....

Hey, I also have brought life to the dead.

Another simple task. Whenever you attend a funeral, you do this too!!

Now this thing about bringing the dead back to life--I think that is just crazy talk. I believe the real way to explore the miracles is to ask "why are they telling me this? Is it to keep my attention? Is it to promote someone that otherwise would have been ignored? Is the story just a fable with some underlining moral like Hansel and Gretel?" I think you are suppose to explore the claims to find their underlining meaning--not believe in them.

I doubt the tellers of miracles wanted anyone to believe them literally. They would have been fools if they thought a rational person would believe in the fantasies they spewed. I mean, even if it did happened would they willingly sacrifice their reputation just to repeat what they saw without proof?

No, no--the miracles, as it is told, I doubt was meant to be taken literal.
