Tim Walz Swiftboated, Stolen Valor. Falsely Was in "War" When He Actually Abandoned His Men When They Shipped to Iraq

Again, you don't understand the difference between the position and the rank. And it is a bit confusing, to be sure.

CSM is both a position (The most senior NCO in a battalion, Regiment, Brigade, or Division) and a rank. (E-9, but only an E-9 serving in the aforementioned position.)

So he could be correctly addressed as Command Sergeant Major (or Just Sergeant Major) for holding that position, even if he didn't hold that specific rank. However, he would only be addressed as such by members of his battalion.
The only reason this deceptive SOB was allowed to assume the position as CSM was contingent on his promise to follow thru on the training and extending his years of enlistment.

Walz agreed to a conditional promotion to Sgt Maj. He was ONLY allowed to wear the rank, and assume that position as CSM, because he signed an agreement that he'd be extending his years of service, completing the training and graduating from the academy. He enjoyed walking around enjoying the status of wearing the rank, and then he broke his agreement, and retired to evade going to combat.

He was never a Sgt Maj, because he reneged on his promises to complete training and did not extended his time in service. It's the same reason a person who drooped out of boot camp can never claim they were a US Army soldier.

A man who never completed Marine Corps boot camp can never claim they were a US Marine. Because, just like Walz, he did not follow thru on the training, and did not graduate. Just because he wore the uniform in boot camp, and had photos taken in a dress blues prop, does not give him the right to claim to have been something he never earned.

Walz should never lay claim to having been a CSM, because he quit, and never followed thru on his commitments which were the ONLY reason he was allowed to wear that rank, and temporarily assume the position.

24 years in the service? You're not qualified to lick his fucking boots.

Walz seems to have a very cavalier attitude about appropriating military honors that he never earned.

Here in an article where special forces military veterans take issue with him wearing a hat with a special forces crest he never earned.

Tim Walz Special Forces Hat Worn At New Jersey Springsteen Concert is Upsetting Veterans

“Hey @Tim_Walz , this you? Do you often wear our crest even though you were only National Guard with zero deployments, never went through SFAS or the Q course, and by all accounts never even worked with Special Forces?” asked a U.S. Army Green Beret.

“As a 20+ year veteran Tim Walz knows how offensive it is for someone to wear the insignia of a unit they weren’t a part of – especially the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne). Time for an apology and promise never to do it again. Shame on you Walz.” another veteran commented.

I served for 22 years in the Marine Corps. You turning this into a personal attack against me, just shows to us all that you know you lost the argument, and you are just throwing a hissy fit.

So not only did he falsely claim he was in a war zone, he turned tail and abandoned his men when they shipped to Iraq.

"I carried a weapon of war in war” - Tim Walz

Tim Walz a ‘coward’ and ‘traitor’ for retiring from military before Iraq, says Guardsman who replaced VP pick

When Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz chose to leave the military on the eve of his deployment to Iraq, Thomas Behrends went in his place.

“I needed to hit the ground running and take care of the troops — and tell them we were going to war,” Behrends said of the 500 soldiers under his command. “For a guy in that position, to quit is cowardice.”
Behrends, a 63-year-old farmer in Brewster, Minn., called the Democratic vice presidential candidate “a traitor” for retiring from their Minnesota National Guard unit just before their deployment to Iraq in 2005.
“When your country calls, you are supposed to run into battle — not the other way,” the retired command sergeant major told The Post Tuesday. “He ran away. It’s sad.

“He had the opportunity to serve his country, and said ‘Screw you’ to the United States. That’s not who I would pick to run for vice president.”

Walz, 60, joined the National Guard after high school and served 24 years in the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery, rising to the rank of command sergeant major. He retired in 2005 — months after a warning order that the battalion would be deployed to Iraq — to run for Congress. He was elected to office in 2006.

“On May 16th, 2005, [Walz] quit, betraying his country, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war,” Behrends and fellow retired Guardsman Paul Herr wrote in a letter posted to Facebook during Walz’s first gubernatorial run, in 2018.

His retirement papers went well before activation. His unit was fully staffed. Just remember shit bird you support a Five Deferment Draft Dodging Yellow Belly Yankee Coward. Fuck Off.

The end of service behavior by Walz was legal, moral, and by the UCMJ.

All of MAGA yammering has not changed one vote to their side.
When the dem voters went along like mindless sheep, to support Ka-blah-blah Harris, after she and other prominent Dems stole the election form Joe, by FORCING to drop out. Yeah, these people are mind numbed sheeple, nothing will sway their vote. Well, except for a 24/7 news media propaganda campaign, to tell the sheeple how they should think and feel.

Lowlifes support the guy that was a weekend warrior (girl scouts compared to USMC) - 2 days a month playing pingpong at the base - that deserted upon receiving deployment orders. That's Stolen Valor cowardice of the highest order.

And somewhere in those weekends the tampon enthusiast was hospitalized for... and I'm quoting from the newspaper article.... "over-ingesting horse semen". Supporting something that does unspeakable acts with farm animals says more about them than him....

Here's a CNN interview with retired Command Sergeant Major Doug Julin. Hope this clears up some of the noise and false reporting by third and forth party sources.

Yes they do. It means wearing your promoted rank before the promotion becomes official.

Correct. The "Command" part is a position, not a rank
The Marine Corps enlisted never did it, but the Navy routinely frocked E6s to chief petty officer, once the promotion list came out.

If the list came out in January, and an E6 was identified as being far down the list to be promoted in the next six months or so, they would allow the First Class Petty officer to walk around in a Chief's uniform, and accept all the privileges, but not the pay, of the rank, until the day the E6 actually had their anchors pinned on.

Since Walz abandoned his men 10 months before they shipped out to Iraq, I figure that they had plenty of time to promote a new commander to replace him.

Ten fucking months!

Second Hand Hearsay proves nothing. Other members of his unit have come forward debunked your lies already,

You support a 5-Deferment Draft Dodging Coward. Your Swift Boating won't work.

A quote from warrior that replaced the deserter:

And now we find the coward wearing Green Beret crests. There is no Green Berets in the weekend warriors. This is Stolen Valor of the highest order.

Let's ask this corpse, and get his take... oh sorry, 6 deferments for.... wait for it.... "childhood asthma".... something that doesn't show up on x-rays like bone spurs.

Sorry Pedo Pete, go back to molesting collies and 9-year olds on the beach.

Face of a warrior!

Awesome pic!

if i remember correctly. trump did not invite our afghan allies to doha when he surrendered on their behalf.

if i remember correctly, trump compromised "5 eyes" (our very closest allies) by revealing our, and their, sources and methods to his buddies. and you applaud when his pet judges let him get away with this.
You obviously don’t remember correctly. There was never any surrender, except when Biden bailed out and surrendered American citizens to the enemy.

They did not know which month, much less the exact date they would be deployed. He was the top enlisted man in his unit, it damn sure did throw the unit into chaos. The Army had to find a replacement who met all the criteria and experience to promote and train the person. This person would also have to get to know the men under his command and bond with them.

Keep in mind, this is a Army reserves, these people have private lives and jobs that keep them apart, so they seldom ever meet each other. Even if the Army had a qualified replacement on speed dial, and got him to report to the unit the very next day, that is not enough time for him to get to know the unit or the men, much less go thru a crash course to learn how to be a CSM.

Race was used as a convenience by Trump. Vance was a correspondent, he did not fight. And Trump faked bone spurs. So it seems that once again the Canuck has stepped into a situation in America where he has zero knowledge and should really confine himsef to Canadian politics until he gets some balance.
It appears that walz tuckedtail and ran when it was time to go to war
