The catholic mystics were among just a few who predicted such a day. From the times of the desert mothers and fathers, the Philokalia & later mystics such as Jeanne Guyon, Michael Molinos, Savonarolla, John Hus...all saints, all put to death by orders of the RCC, all catholics but herein lies the difference........ they lived the interior life not the exterior life.
Proverbs teaches us that the holy despise the wickedness of the wicked and the wicked despise the holiness of the holy. We should expect to see it as King Solomon said we would. Nothing new under the sun.
There is probably more significance in the matter of moral insanity. You see these same people warned that the day would come when the world would not tolerate sound teaching but would rather seek to follow whatever appealed to their flesh.
They would accuse those with good character, morals, lifestyle of insanity because it would not be the norm of the day. ( People who believed in God would be accused of insanity, they predicted)
Men everywhere in that day would exhibit insane behavior including those in leadership ( like voting for a bill before you read it perhaps? ) and choose to follow men of low character, evil intent, men who were liars, thieves and cheats. These same men would despise those who would be called good because their character and penchant for truth exposed the wicked of their wickedness. ( are we there yet? ) Yes. Light dispels darkness and the darkness hates it.
Some of very best teachings, revelations of Christ, divine wisdom. coming out of the RCC came from those who were murdered within the institution. They were accused of being evil by men who claimed to be good and were not. They rounded them up & put them to death, burning many at the stake. Only Guyon was spared - she was sentenced to a prison cell with no window glass - snow poured in - yet she sang like a bird and declared within her cage she was as free in her spirit as any bird in the air.
A good woman imprisoned by evil men. ( wearing religious garments ) The RCC said her only crime was that she loved God too much. They weren't having it. In fact on the cover of a book about her life - it reads, her only crime was loving God too much. Imagine living in such a desperately wicked society. You don't have to. You already are living in such a one and it looks as if we are about to repeat history again.
Back to the history of the RCC:
While those who claimed to know God - around them - were busy murdering the spiritual ones amongst them - the spiritual ones had already reached the summit of - "I know nothing" and am nothing apart from God. In other words, they practiced the presence of God continually living lives of humility. The summit for the early Christian was humility. So they were in good company.
There have always been two groups inside the RCC and I suspect it continues today. Look no further than men such as Malachi Martin who did his best to expose satanism within the vatican - an evil that had taken over and was destroying the church from within. He was a Catholic bishop when he wrote the book, Windswept House under the disguise of a novel.
So the wheat and the tares continue to grow together.
I am using the RCC as the example because we can go back to the beginning and see that even within the walls of the church there was a battle between good and evil going on. the evil were in leadership roles, the saints that were executed were the submitted ones - the lambs that went to the slaughter. Without a word. Just like Jesus. ( he was crucified by the Romans also )
So moral insanity is like driving 200 mph to get to hell while acting as if heaven is your destination. You cannot get to NY driving to California. It isn't happening.
You cannot get heaven at the end when you've already traded your character for the accolades of a political party who has you covering their lies, their voter fraud, their theft of us tax dollars paid by american people.
You cannot get to heaven by calling evil good and that would include any political leader who is breaking the laws of the land and violating the trust of the people who put him or her in office.
You cannot get to heaven by accusing a christian of being an "extreme" extremist harming America because they point out you've moved from socialism to communism in one small step. Truth is truth, nothing extreme about it. Other than your own response which is hoping to diminish that ring of truth & the reality of the lateness of the hour.
*** You cannot get to heaven accusing good people of being evil people nor can you get to heaven claiming evil people are good. The Torah teaches woe unto those who call evil good and good evil. That is the sign of an evil man. ( who does such a thing )
So all things are moving along as expected. It is a battle but a glorious one.
To define who the great men are is quite simple. They are the men of character. Honesty, integrity, unwilling to compromise with evil, holding to a high standard, speaking out against evil when they see it, men whose reputations are above reproach in the opinion of those who know him. Men of character keep company with men of character. You will know a man or woman by the company they keep quite easily. I like A.W. Tozer - have read many of his books and consider him a very sound teacher for the 21st century although he's now in heaven.
Tozer said, Until we have seen ourselves as God sees us, we are not likely to be much disturbed over conditions around us as long as they do not get so far out of hand as to threaten our comfortable way of life. We have learned to live with unholiness and have come to look upon it as the natural and expected thing. We are not disappointed when we cannot find truth in our teachers nor when we can't we find truth in our politicians nor are we disappointed when they are not faithful ( do not keep their word or promises to the people ) we accept dishonesty from our merchants - we do not even find full trustworthiness in our friends!
That we may continue to exist we make such laws as necessary to protect us from our fellow men and let it go at that.
I suspect that one day when we meet the LORD we will learn exactly how far beneath the standard we have all lived and speechless will become the understatement of the hour. I include myself in that number, of course.

And I thought the OP was nonsensical gobbledegook.
Oh all right - I admit I quit reading less than half-way through.
Not surprising. You are a dimwitted little Goose Stepper. Now hurry off, The View's on.
I've never watched the view and I think endless holier than thou preaching sermons belong in the religion forum.
You need to either read up on Libertarianism or admit you haven't a clue and change your idiotic avatar. You're a poseur and very dishonest, with yourself and with the board.
